Superficial punctate keratitis is characterized by multiple small lesions in the superficial layers of the cornea. Other corneal signs mentioned include epithelial defects, Descemet membrane folds, endothelial plaques which can indicate fungal infiltration, corneal ulcers, dendritic ulcers, punctate epithelial keratitis, punctate epithelial erosions, geographic ulcers, stromal vascularization, pannus formation, keratic precipitates, and scars.
