Microsoft 365 empowers individuals, teams, and organizations to share and work together with files
Let’s look at how three of Microsoft’s best-of-class applications are optimized for file collaboration scenarios, while sharing intelligent file experiences, content management, security & compliance
OneDrive is where you can work with all your files—your individual work files and the files shared with you across Microsoft 365—on any device.
Teams is a hub for teamwork where you and your team can collaborate on files, communicate, and streamline processes.
SharePoint is the intelligent intranet with sites that let you communicate broadly and manage content across the organization.
You can work seamlessly across applications and devices with coherent and powerful files experiences, turbocharged by AI. And you can work confidently, knowing that your files are protected with industry-leading security and compliance
You then have unique value from each app, while maintaining a consistent way you interact with an manage your files. Less training how, and more doing to uniformly move business forward.
Create a new team in Teams; a group-connected SharePoint team site gets created and integrated automatically
First thing you see if the Files tab; this is a window into the same connected SharePoint team site’s default document library
Adjust the SharePoint team site home page to configure a “team dashboard”
Create a list from a list
Work with different list views (applies same to libraries)
Note sync functionality (will demo more when we discuss OneDrive)
And then show video: “ITT_SOYS10_demo-SharePoint-lists-PowerApps.mp4”; in 1 minute, this shows not yet released tech:

Move columns
Column formatting
Group by status
Move item and auto-update metadata
Show card view
Show form customized by PowerApps
Lists, libraries formatting and PowerApps 1 minute
Shows: Expanded view (lists & libraries) > move column > column formatting > group by with item move and auto-metadata update > card layout > PowerApps used for document library view form.

SharePoint ♥s Teams [blog + ‘how to’ demo video]: "4 topnotch teamwork tips for Microsoft Teams plus SharePoint" [9/24/19]: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-SharePoint-Blog/4-topnotch-teamwork-tips-for-Microsoft-Teams-plus-SharePoint/ba-p/864155
[MAIN POINT TO LAND]
Microsoft Teams is a hub for teamwork, a chat-based workspace that enables teams to be more productive by giving them a single and secure location that brings together everything a team needs: chats, meetings, calls, files, and tools. Microsoft Teams is one place for all the needs your teams have.
Microsoft Teams delivers on four core promises to create a digital workspace for high performing teams.
[COMMUNICATE]
First, Microsoft Teams solves for the communication needs of a diverse workforce.
Since preview, Microsoft Teams has evolved to include a complete meetings experience, as well as chat, voice and video -
You can use Teams for informal 1:1 or group chats – directly on your phone if you’re on the go. Or you can have an open conversation in a channel. This enables people to share information in a transparent way to accelerate decision making. And it's super easy to move from a chat into a face to face meeting, helping you to bridge geographical barriers.
[COLLABORATE]
When it comes to collaboration, the deep Office integration enables today’s multigenerational workforce to use the Office apps they are familiar with and love - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Planner, even Power BI - right within the context of Teams. Teams is unique in how we enable collaboration.
Today, when you want somebody’s feedback, you send them the file via email, they store it locally with comments, you store it again…… it's a vicious cycle that results in v2, v3, v4 versions – and you have to jump between email and other apps to get the work done. Teams brings all the Office 365 services together – so that you can easily share and co-author files without the need for email attachments.
[CUSTOMIZE]
Many of you use other services than Office 365 as well which results in you having to jump between and spend time in disparate experiences. We built Teams to not only be the hub for Office 365 services, but for all the services and tools teams use on a day to day basis. So, you can customize Teams with tabs, connector and bots to include the apps and services you need - <mention relevant 3rd party apps like GitHub and Trello that can be included in Teams>– we have integrations with over 150 partners. For our developer community, we have also created an extensible platform, to enable building apps and to integrate with business processes.
[WORK WITH CONFIDENCE]
Microsoft Teams comes with the enterprise grade security, compliance and manageability that you expect from Office 365 which customers tell us is a huge value add for them.
Next click is the slide with #teamify video embedded: “ITT_SOYS10_demo-Teamify .mp4”; in 50 seconds, this shows not yet released tech:
Adding Microsoft Teams to your site; shows selecting resources to be added as tabs in Teams (the team site home page and a list that uses new card view); then Teams chat side-by-side.
Add Microsoft Teams to SharePoint team site ~ 30 seconds
Shows: New Teams + SharePoint wizard (#teamify) > = new, pre-populated tabs in Teams > chat side-by-side.

SharePoint Online and OneDrive help protect your intellectual property and sensitive data, whether it stays within your organizational perimeter or travels outside with remote users, customers, or partners. This enables users to securely access files and documents whether they’re sharing internally or externally or collaborating in real-time.
To help enable a modern workstyle with secure, compliant, and controlled access, sharing, and collaboration of business data, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business encompass these promises:
Industry-leading protection for your information.
Easier management with intuitive and advanced controls.
Increased insights and intelligence.
Keeping up-to-date with evolving compliance.
Moving to the cloud should not mean losing the ability to have visibility into your environment.
Microsoft believes that you have a right to as much information as possible about how we handle your customer data in the cloud.
We provide you with clear explanations about where your data is stored and how we help secure it, as well as who can access it and under what circumstances. And you don’t have to take our word for it. You can review a wide range of evidence, including independent audit reports and certifications for most of our business cloud services, to confirm that we meet the standards we set.
Customer Lockbox
Customer Lockbox can enable customers to meet compliance needs by demonstrating that they have procedures in place for explicit data access authorization.
Conditional Access
Conditional access policies help keep your business data safe while providing a secure environment in which your users can work from compliant devices. In addition to defining user-access permission, conditional access in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business provides advanced controls ensuring that before granting access to any user, it considers various conditions to authenticate the right users, such as the identity of the user, the devices and applications being used, the network that the user is connected to, and the sensitivity of the data being accessed.
Sharing Controls
While working with vendors, customers, and partners outside your organization, you often need to share documents to collaborate directly. You can take advantage of extensive sharing controls that help to secure shared data through defined link expirations and automatically revoked access to content or files. You can also allow external parties to access sensitive data with no sign-in but do so in a secure way. By using shared One Time Passwords, external parties can prove that they are the right users to access specific information. This allows you to avoid creating anonymous links and new user accounts for external parties. Intuitive sharing controls help you minimize the risk of overexposed information through secure external sharing without requiring sign in.
Admin Controls and Insights
SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business provide a set of web-based tools, including Admin Center for SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. These tools allow you to understand usage and growth patterns and file activity insights, quickly see information about your SharePoint sites, manage external sharing, control device access, manage document synchronization, and monitor the health status of SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. You get an insightful picture of your security and compliance requirements so you can perform management actions accordingly.
Multi-Geo Capabilities with OneDrive and SharePoint
One of the key strengths of SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business is their inherent resilience and ability to ensure your data resides in multiple locations, providing the ability to serve data to partners, customers, and employees wherever they happen to be. Multi-geo capabilities provide a choice of geographical locations in which to store, manage, and secure your data by allowing a single Office 365 tenant to span multiple regions, storing data on a per-user or per-site basis. Seamlessly and transparently add a new user to your organization or move an existing user and their data to a new region with new multi-geo capabilities that are designed to address those needs. Meet data residency requirements by spanning multiple Office 365 datacenter geographies (geos) to store OneDrive data (and SharePoint Online data in the near future) at-rest, on a per-user basis, in your chosen geos.
Our customers are everything. It is exciting and humbling to work with and learn from you. Thank you.

Key points:
Customer profile: With over four decades of proven experience, Seneca Companies prides itself in being a full-service provider of petroleum storage and dispensing systems, environmental consulting, process systems and waste removal, electrical contracting, industrial coating and more.
Challenge: Seneca’s IT Department discovered Confluent’s industrial solutions in the PowerApps Partner Showcase, and reached out to learn more. They were under the gun to improve field service communication and reporting for their Tank Cleaning Division. After receiving job details and a schedule from administrative staff, technicians capture multiple data points and images for a detailed Service Report—previously a four-page PDF per job. Seneca wanted an automated solution that would work on phones or tablets, with SharePoint integration for the office admins. Because service sites are often in remote locations, offline capabilities were a must.
Strategy: Confluent worked directly with Seneca’s IT department to assess specific needs, workflows, and integrations. The PDF Service Report was digitized in PowerApps, with separate environments for technicians and admins.
Results: Just days after receiving a signed contract, Confluent delivered a custom PowerApps solution and remote end user training to meet Seneca’s field service needs. In conjunction with Seneca’s IT department, the app was deployed immediately and is currently in use by roughly 30 tank cleaning technicians and a dozen admins. The company hopes to see improved field service communication and data reporting as well as operational and customer service improvements overall.
