Forced Convection Heat Transfer
Forced Convection Heat Transfer
I. Introduction
This laboratory deals with forced convection, forced convection can be considered as a staple of heat
transfer. That is to say that forced convection can be found in almost any heat transfer problem, and
thus understanding its importance and how it affects a given problem is one of the more important
learning objectives/outcomes of heat transfer.
When dealing with forced convection the most important section, after understanding how convection
works, is the convection heat transfer coefficient. The heat transfer coefficient for convection is
denoted by (h) and is measured in w/m^2*K, this lab delves into the application of convection heat
transfer and how it correlates to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Macroeconomic Trends And Conditions Of New Zealand Essay
In the following essay, various macroeconomic trends and conditions will be explored in reference to
New Zealand.
While New Zealand has a rich history dating back to prehistoric times, the main economic
development began with the colonization by British explorers in the late 1700 s. Throughout time, the
island nation has shared much with its British lineage in that it has been a predominately isolated
island nation that relies heavily on international trade. While this has allowed New Zealand to become
developed and prosperous, it also exposes their economy to global economic recessions and
unexpected swings in various economic indicators. Sections in particular will focus on GDP, inflation,
unemployment, credit markets, and lastly fiscal and monetary policy.
New Zealand s GDP in 2014 was $198.1 billion U.S. Dollars, which ranks 49th in the world. Their
economy is free market oriented and developed, and is routinely ranked as one of the more efficient
and least corrupt economies in the entire world [2][3][10]. Currently, GDP expenditure in New
Zealand is around 70% based in the services sector, 26% in the industrial sector, and the remaining 4%
in agriculture. New Zealand has a high percentage of its GDP composed in both imports and exports
in international trade, which stand around 28% for both respectively [2][3]. Because of this high
reliance on international trade, the most recent economic recession from 2008 2009 saw real GDP
contract for five quarters in a row,

Cause And Effect Of Water Vapor
Water vapor. Out of all the gases, water vapor makes the largest contribution to the Earth s GHE (EPA,
2015). Water vapor has an atmospheric lifetime (AL) (defined as the approximate amount of time it
would take for the anthropogenic increment to an atmospheric pollutant concentration to return to its
natural level (assuming emissions cease) as a result of either being converted to another chemical
compound or being taken out of the atmosphere via a sink (EPA, 2013)) of approximately 10 days
(EPA, 2015). It is unlike other GHG and unique in the fact that when it reaches high enough
concentrations in the atmosphere, it has the ability to condense into H2O liquid and can rain out from
the atmosphere back to the surface of the Earth (EPA, 2015). It also acts as a feedback mechanism to
climate change (IPCC, 2007; EPA, 2015). This is mainly due to two reasons. The first being that the
total amount of H2O vapor that is in the atmosphere at any given time is directly related to the Earth s
surface temperature (EPA, 2015). Secondly, the H2O vapor in the atmosphere can affect the formation
of clouds which directly influence the GHE by cooling (reflecting heat from the Sun) or by warming
(trapping heat in the atmosphere) the surface of the Earth (EPA, 2015). Essentially, any change in
clouds such as type, location, water content, altitude, particle size or shape, and lifetimes can influence
their effect on the cooling and warming of the Earth (IPCC, 2013). Therefore, any

Comparing Dionysius And Socrates
Ethics are what separates civilized men from savages, driving their decisions, and determining their
destiny. The actions of both Dionysius and Socrates, in both Bacchae and Phaedrus respectively, are
driven by their personal ethics and beliefs in justice. Bacchae, a Greek tragedy written by Euripides,
tells the story of the Greek God Dionysus s arrival to ancient city of Thebes, and the city s reaction
towards him and his strange religion. Phaedrus on the other hand is a dialogue, written by Plato, about
a series of arguments between Socrates and Phaedrus starting with what makes a good speech,
journeying into the fundamental understanding of the universe itself. Dionysius, the protagonist of
Bacchae, having returned from south east Asia, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dionysius here is essentially listing the injustices he as suffered by the city of Thebes, promising to
make undo any harm he causes after being accepted, warns that his rejection will result in his wrath,
and finally disguises himself as preacher to find willing followers. Dionysius views on justice are
what separates him from the other gods, in that he acknowledges the harm his actions will bring to
Thebes, promising to undo all the damage upon their acceptance of him, while most of the other gods
would leave after satisfying their quest for vengeance. The most important line in this quote is the last
sentence I ve transformed myself, assumed a mortal shape, altered my looks, so I resemble any human
being (70 73) , in that he wants people to choose to follow him out of their own free will, rather than
forcing or scaring the people into compliance. So, Dionysius starts out with good intentions, he wants
to gain willing followers into his religion, achieve justice for the defamation of his mother, and be
worshiped by other, but is forced to make good on his promise to

The Importance of John Adams 1763-1776
The Importance of John Adams 1763 1776 Fear is the foundation of most governments, (1) quoted by
the fearless leader John Adams. John Adams played significant roles during the years of 1763 through
1776. He was in support of self governing and independence which caused him to become the leader
of the Boston Massacre. Between 1765 and 1776, Adams s involvement in radical politics ran apace
with the escalation of events. In 1770, he was elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives,
and he later served as chief legal counsel to the Patriot faction and wrote several important resolutions
for the lower house in its running battle with Governor Thomas Hutchinson. He also wrote a
penetrating essay on the need for an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His work was first published in the Boston Gazette and was published on January 23, 1775. In
America, John Adams works were published as pamphlets, but in London they were published in
abridged form. His essays were signed Novanglus, and they were a reply to other essays signed,
Massachusettensis. John Adams did not know who the artist of Massachusettensis was but he had a
very strong feeling that it was Jonathan Sewell, later he discovered that his antagonist was Daniel
Leonard. Many believe that John Adams played a role in the Boston Tea Party, but in actuality he had
nothing to do with the Boston Tea Party, only thing Adams did was approve it. He felt it had
reasonable motives, was very bold, and should be marked as a big moment in history. Adams believed
British wouldn t respect the colonist rights unless someone forced them. That s how John Adams
became one of the four most important Patriot leaders in Boston. After the Boston Tea Party, King
George III grew highly furious because so much tea was destroyed and he closed the whole Boston
port. Not only did King George III close the port of Boston but he was so extremely upset that he
suspended all town meetings in Massachusetts colonies and instead of having Boston listed as the
capital of Massachusetts, he made Salem the capital. King George III wanted these new rules to stay
enforced until Boston could find a way to pay back all the tea that they decided

Aquarius Constellation Research Paper
My favourite costellation is the Aquarius constellation, which is in the Southern Hemisphere during
the spring, while in the Northern Hemisphere during the fall. This is my favourite constellation
because to me, it is the most beautiful and is one of the most important backgrounds. In my personal
opinion, it also has the most meaning to it. The term Aquarius means Water Bearer or Cup Bearer in
Latin.
In Greek myth, there was a young man named Ganymede, who was a prince of Troy. He was
supposedy extremely handsome, and in this way, caught Zeus eye. This is where the story splits into
many versions, but I ll be covering my favourite. Once Ganymede was carried to Olympus by Zeus in

Aphrodite herself. Aphrodite, who had been watching the youngling for the simple beauty of her
voice, wondered if she was her child, or a grandchild, and one day approaced the young woman. The
young woman s name was Catalina, and was curious about the goddess who stood before her. She
respectfully bowed. Catalina was selfless for everything except for one thing her beauty. She wished
to be the prettiest woman in the world. Aphrodite sensed this and devised a plan. If you collect me an
apple of immortality from the Hesperides, then I shall grant you eternal beauty. Be warned: If you are
to fall in love on this journey, then you will not be granted this, Aphrodite warned, but Catalina shook
her head, desperate. So, she venturered far and wide to find the Garden of the Hesperides. One day,
after many days of veturing, she found it, and only barely made it past Ladon. She snagged an apple
and ran, only to hear someone screaming and grunting in pain. She eventually found Atlas, the titan
cursed to hold up the sky. She grabbed a golden cup and squeezed the golden apple s insides nto the
cup, mixing it into he water. She poured it into Atlas wounds and gave him the rest to drink, healing
him efficiently. He drank it, and in the process, Catalina fell in love with the man. Aphrodite appeared,
and shamed her for falling in love, as she would no longer have the gift of beauty. I don t care, as long
as I may stay here with my love forever, Catalina said, amd Aphrodite smiled. You passed the test.

A Different Drummer Quotes
One day I realized that I wasn t getting anywhere by blaming other people for my circumstances. I
finally understood: Even if you feel someone has wronged you or owes you something, no one is
going to give you anything for free (Mary J. Blige). This quote seems to sum up how Tucker Caliban
felt before he vanished into thin air along with the other black residents of the state. The novel A
Different Drummer was written by William Melvin Kelly and takes place in a fictional southern state
which is referred to as the state. The main characters of this novel are Tucker Caliban, Bethrah
Caliban, Dymphna Willson, Dewey Willson, David Willson, Camille Willson, Mister Leland, and
Harry Leland. In the state, all of the black residents have decided ... Show more content on

Dymphna first met Bethrah when the Willson family decided to hire a new maid. Camille and
Dymphna are stunned because Bethrah doesn t fit the stereotype that they envision of a black maid
and she is also college educated. Camille hires Bethrah in order to show her off to others because she
would be considered unique to the other white residents. The friendship between Dymphna and
Bethrah is that of two young normal girls for the most part. Due to Bethrah being black Dymphna still
has somewhat of a prejudice mindset when addressing her. This is seen when Dymphna commented
that she found it odd to ask Bethrah for her opinion. It sounded really strange asking her opinion when
she was colored (Kelly 101). It s interesting to make mention of the fact that Dymphna says that she
can be friends with Bethrah because there wasn t a possibility of social complications. The reason this
is important is because Dymphna makes it seem as though she is only willing to be Bethrah s friend
under the circumstances in which her reputation won t be damaged. While Dymphna does seem to
have a sort of biased towards Bethrah, She goes to her for advice whenever she needs it. Dymphna
also plays an important part in trying to get Tucker to notice Bethrah. Dymphna is also there when
Bethrah gripes about Tucker as shown when Bethrah tells her about her night out with him and her

Personal Finance Midterm Analysis
Personal Finance Midterm
Having financial goals is very important. I personally have three goals that are important to me.
Following a budget is something I want to follow for the rest of my life. I think it is important to have
a budget so you can manage and control the money you spend. Right now, I don t have very much to
budget, but soon I will be taking loans out for school and hopefully getting a stable job. To complete
this goal, I plan on making a budget each month and stick with it. Another financial goal of mine is to
start an emergency fund. I chose this goal because I think it is important to be ready for anything. In
my case I would want around two thousand dollars in mine. For this to happen I must budget out
money each month and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I keep track of everything I buy and make sure it is necessary. Something my friend does is spend less
than she earns. I think this strategy is smart because if you always spend less than you earn you will
always have some money left over, hopefully if I start now by doing this I will have good spending
habits down the road.
My ideal job is to become a registered nurse. I like the idea of becoming a nurse because it means I
get to do one of my favorite things which is help people. The world will always need nurses and
doctors so with a nursing degree I will always have a place to work. A registered nurse makes around
60,000 a year. To achieve this I, must continue going to school and start focusing on classes that will
help me in this career field. Something else that I want to do is an internship program at a hospital or
something so I can get a feel on what it s like to be an actual nurse.
My credit score is basically none existent right now because I don t have any credit cards or loans out
right now. But in the future, I plan on having good credit for the rest of my life. I m going to have
good credit because I know what needs to be done. I am going to pay my bills and credit cards on
time. Another thing I am going to do once I get a credit card is keep the balance on it

I Think Sustainability Is A Strategy For Coca-Cola....
I think sustainability is a strategy for Coca Cola. Sustainability has been a long and on going journey
for Coca Cola. On their website, I can find a sustainability report back to 2007. In each of these
reports/reviews, Coca Cola will assess performance and progress against the previous year, in
addition, the number of indicators is also increasing. This journey has certainly brought benefits to the
company. For example, Coca Cola has focused on sustainable packaging efforts and the creative
PlantBottle package design has resulted in an estimated cost saving of $180 million. The sustainability
efforts also helped Coca Cola to gain access to new market and partners through human right.

4. Does it follow GRI and other international framework?
Yes, Coca Cola have developed their 2014/2015 sustainability report in accordance with the Core
level of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 guidelines. Actually, it is the fifth consecutive year
in which they address GRI reporting requirements. The report also applies the United Nations Global
Compact LEAD Program Advanced Criteria for reporting and meets the requirements of the United
Nations Global Compact Communication on Progress.
5. Is report verified by a third party?
Ernst Young LLP have performed review level assurance for the calendar year ending December
31,2014 on sustainability indicators related to low or no calorie beverages, active, healthy living
programs, water use ratio, PlantBottle™ packaging, lost time incident rate, front of pack labeling
compliance, and greenhouse gas emissions related to Coca Cola s manufacturing activities.
6. Does the report include bad news, good news, challenges and opportunities?
Surely, progress on their sustainability journey would be good news. Not only so, the report included
bad news and challenges. For example, Coca Cola

The Problem Of Child Labor
Introduction: Outside the natural beauty and scenery across Indonesia and its respective islands, the
behind the scenes action of their economy and social development lies in income disparity and ill
fated use of child labor. With a population of around 249.9 million, Indonesia is the fourth largest (in
terms of population) in the world; however, 30 percent of the people are under 15 years old.
Educational reforms have been at the forefront of the Indonesian government for years and expansion
to free and public education access has had significant progress; unfortunately, more than 4 million
children of junior secondary school age and below do not attend classes / lectures / seminars.
Furthermore, most of these children are then forced to enter the workforce at a very young age and are
vulnerable to exploitation. Based on strong research from the International Labour Organization
(ILO), it is estimated that there are 3.2 million children between the ages of 10 17 years old in
Indonesia engaged in employment with some involved in the worst forms of child labour. By
definition, child labour is described as work that children should/could not be doing because they are
too young, or if they are old enough to work because it is too dangerous and hazardous or otherwise
unsuitable to them. In Indonesia, child labour can be broken down into three subcategories: domestic,
plantation, and street/trafficking. Child domestic labour accounts for about 700,000 children with

The Waste Of Waste
Canadians throw out garbage in their everyday lives, but how much Canadians properly dispose of it?
In 2015, roughly 2.3 million tonnes of garbage were thrown away in British Columbia alone, an
average of 497 kilograms per capita. Imagine Canada s waste combined about 25 million tonnes.
Often, household garbage ends up in landfills, but landfills are piling up and reaching maximum
capacity. Unfortunately, it is becoming a struggle to find new areas to dispose of the tonnes of waste.
Additionally, the problem of over capacitated landfills contributes to the environment s health and as a
consequence, make approximately 25% of Canada s greenhouse gas emissions. Improperly discarding
items, like batteries, electronics, and so forth, also contributes to the environment s health, creating the
risk of water and soil contamination. It is up to Canadians and the decisions they make when it comes
to recycling and protecting the environment.
Most household items, such as TV remotes, cell phones, wireless video game controllers, and more,
require batteries to operate. Ultimately, single use or rechargeable batteries run out of juice or corrode,
and become no longer usable. Nonetheless, Canadians are guilty disposing of batteries improperly,
whether in the garbage bin or the blue bin, that later enter landfills. Statistics Canada informs, the
most common method of disposal was taking them to a depot or drop off centre (43%), while some
put them in the garbage (32%) or returned them

Traditional Chinese Medicine ( Tcm )
The Eastern and Western worlds have often had drastically different philosophies and ideologies. In
particular, one difference to note is that of medicine and beliefs about illness. In the East, one is
responsible for keeping their mind and thoughts healthy in order to stave off illness. An internal
affecting the external. In the West, when the mind and body are altered by the environment in certain
ways, this causes illness. External affecting internal. These philosophical and cultural differences stem
from thousands of years of separate evolution. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) began in the third
century BC. Traditional Chinese medicine incorporated the idea of balance with the ying/yang from
Taoism and an emphasis on harmony, moral conduct and social ethics from Confucianism. The central
dogma is that the health of each organ depends on its relationship to all other organs, thus nothing
changes without changing the whole (Scheper Hughes, 12). Western medicine had a very different
history. It began in Ancient Greece with Hippocrates, who wanted to eradicate magico religious
beliefs from health practices and make medicine more rational. This became the norm in the West for
over a millennium. This form of medicine was further incorporated into western society with Rene
Descartes, who described his consciousness as one thing (mind) and his body as a separate other.
Since then, science in the Western world has developed around the idea that these two entities are
separate

Tereus Injustices In Ovid s Metamorphoses
Further on, in Book Six of Metamorphoses , Ovid introduces readers to the characters of Tereus and
his wife, Procne. Tereus, at his wife s request, brings her sister, Philomela, for a visit. However, he
becomes so captivated by Philomela that he imprisons, rapes, and mutilates her. In order to avenge
Tereus, Procne along with Philomela, trick Tereus into consuming the flesh of his own son. The story
of Tereus, Procne and Philomela exists as one of absolute extremes. It contains the most vicious rape,
the most brutal mutilation and finally the most horrific form of retaliation: cannibalism. Procne and

What Was The Role Of Farmers In The United States
Between 1870 and 1900 farmers in the U.S. formed a series of campaigns to go against the nation s
political and economic systems. They perceived these systems as not in their favor or interest. The
farmers wanted to increase regulation of the railroads, monetary reform, and banking reform. After the
Civil War, crop prices began a big decline that lasted for a long time. At the same time, the costs of
operation, growing and transporting crops, remained at a constant or increased price. The operation
costs include train fees/fairs, interest on loans, and the cost of machinery. The drop in crop prices

design. The second subtest is the assimilation branch. In this subtest, the participants were asked to
associate words to a given emotion and indicate the similarities of the word and the emotions; An
example is, cold, blue, sweet. The last subtest is the management branch. In this subtest, the subjects
were asked to indicate the effectiveness of an action would be in managing their internal emotions.
With this method, it is revealed that the results of the sex offenders are not that significantly different
in comparison to the control group. As a way of contrast, these findings did not yield the same
conclusion that Hudson et al., (1993) suggested. The results from the MSCEIT assessment did not
display the deficit of emotional function of sexual offenders. Furthermore, this study helps support the
suggestion that the emotional deficiency the sexual offenders have are more likely to be specific to the
sexual offences they have committed (Fernandez et al.,

Uglies Scott Westerfeld Analysis
We all have friends that we would give up everything to save or be with. In Pretties, by Scott
Westerfeld, Tally has to sacrifice her new life as a Pretty(which she has always wanted to become) in
order to save not only herself, but her friends and the whole city. Uglies, also written by Scott
Westerfeld(the first book of the series) Tally has to sacrifice her life in order to turn pretty to be with
Peris, her old friend from Uglyville who turned pretty before her. Both of these stories are teaching us
to sacrifice our lives for our friends, but the author teaches this in different ways.
In the first book of the series, Uglies, Tally has always wanted to become pretty and be with Peris, but
her new friend Shay has run away to the smoke and the government wants Tally to go and find Shay.

she decided to chase him down until she got the location of the cure. This is how the author shows that

The Importance Of Organizational Leadership
Throughout the CSU Global Master s of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program of
study, several aspects of leadership have been presented as a source of information to better
understand leadership functions, practices, challenges, decision making, and effective communication
in the workplace (CSU Global, 2017). Organizational leaders should look beyond standard leadership
practices and be prepared to address and manage organizational problems and assess employees
behavior in a multicultural workplace environment (Schein, 2010). This capstone paper will briefly
address leadership skills learned, practiced, and the approach to further develop current individual
leadership qualities, to be an effective organizational leader moving forward.
Leadership Learned
Effective leadership entails exercising the appropriate leadership style and understanding an
organization s strategy, people, and the environment. In today s competitive environment, leaders not
only have to understand business and the organizational strategy, they should also know how to
strategically manage people. Effective leaders are cognizant of their leadership strengths and
weaknesses, and promote leader team information exchange to better understand team members
strengths and weaknesses. An assessment of the team s capabilities, can have a direct impact on the
organization s overall performance (Kunnanatt, 2016). Nonetheless, it has become clear that there is

The Most Successful Follower Of Verdi
Giacomo Antonio Domenico Michele Secondo Maria Puccini also known as Giacomo Puccini. He
was named after an 18th century ancestor, who founded a long line of local musicians including
Puccini s father. Puccini is the most successful follower of Verdi, continuing the line of Italian opera
composers onto the 20th century. He was born into a musical family that was strongly tied to
Christianity, so he served as a church organist and choir director until Verdi s performance of Aida
inspired him to become a composer of operas. Puccini an a friend walked 18.5 miles just to see Verdi s
performance of Aida. Puccini is called the greatest composer of Italian opera after Verdi. Puccini was
born in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy on December 22, 1858 in a house in Corte San Lorenzo. This house was
where he spent the first twenty two years of his life at. Being born into a family with 5 generations of
music behind it, he had big shoes he had to fill. He was one of seven children of Michele Puccini and
Albina Magi. Puccini was just five years old when his father died and wasn t capable of taking over
his fathers job as a composer, organist, and a teacher. After his father died, his mother sent him to his
uncle Fortunato Magi, hoping he can help him with his music. Magi considered Puccini as a poor and
undisciplinded student and told his mom, Albina, to give up hopes for her son. Most people think it
was that Fortunato was actually jealous of Puccini s talent, an was afraid he might ruin

The Discovery Of Gold And The Powder River
With the discovery of gold in the Powder River in the Sumpter Valley, prospectors from all around
began their journey into the valley to see if they could make a profit. In 1935, the construction of the
Sumpter Valley Dredge was underway, and one of the last gold dredges manufactured to work the
river until it s decommissioning nearly twenty years later. Sticking out from the dredge s structure is
72 enormous one ton buckets carrying loose rock back into the interior of the dredge. The Sumpter
Valley Dredge is an excellent example of a preserved object for its historical significance. An object
can consist of any physical structure with moving components that is functional, has artistic qualities,
relates to the heritage of the nation, scientific advancements, or took part in a historical event. Once
completed, only then can objects be eligible for preservation. Unlike objects, buildings have slightly
different guidelines to meet for historical preservation. When surveyed, an examination of the
structure is imperative for its involvement with historical events and people such as in the case with
the preservation of Saint John s Church in Richmond, Virginia. This site is the location where famous
Anti Federalist and historical Governor of Virginia, Patrick Henry gave his famous speech where he
exclaimed the phrase Give me Liberty or Give me Death. With the church s direct connection to the
historical event and Patrick Henry, the structure was given National Landmark

Lauren: What made you choose counselling as a career path?
Carol: (Smiling and holding eye contact) Well, I actually started working as a social worker in

counselling and I really enjoyed this part of the job so I enrolled in a counselling course to focus on
this field.
Lauren: (Nodding, keeping eye contact) Ah hah.
Carol: After I finished the course I started working in more counselling orientated environments and
after some experience, I decided to focus on counselling. Then I moved to Spain a six of years after
that and found the MABS Cancer Support Group. I have been here for two years now.

British Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution in Great Britain began in eighteenth century due to the economic
differences in many areas, the rise of factories, and the advances in technologies. The Industrial
Revolution created a foundation for the modern world s economy and helped advance the world s
markets and industries. It also affected the social system and improved the people s living standard.
Learning about the Industrial Revolution will help us understand more about the history of our
prosperous economy.
There were many factors that started the British Industrial Revolution such as economic differences in
rural areas and cities, the rise of many factories which fulfilled the needs for workers and increased
jobs, along with the advancement in technologies which created new production methods. In rural
areas, labours were cheap and many workers became unemployed and this increased poverty. In cities,
the economy was different. Many factories were formed which created more jobs causing the people
in rural areas to leave their towns to work in cities. Since the majority of people lived in cities and
worked in factories, it created the industrial system (1). During the Industrial Revolution, men,
women, and even children needed to work in order to survive. They worked in dangerous
environments and were paid with low wages. Children and women were favored to work in coal
mining industry because they were slim. They suffered severe contamination And children were

Culture Industry: Enlightenment as Mass Deception is the expression of what is viewed as a Culture
Industry . The term Culture Industry is expected to allude to the business showcasing of society, the
spectrum of the industry that deals particularly with the generation of society that is rather than what s

Horkheimer and Adorno argue that mechanically delivered society denies individuals of their creative

students cannot perform this idea correctly, because as they write they never had the opportunity to get
taught to examine and synthesize a piece of writing correctly. Students need to understand how to
view facts as claims, or view writing as a serial of creative ideas and drafts that drive to a final
distinctive piece of work. In this article Kantz described how students think as they are writing, she
used personal experiences, introduces rhetorical situation, and used

Recycling At The United Kingdom
Recycling is a process that continues to develop and become more popular within waste management.
As there is a wide amount of literature relating to this topic the following review will focus in on
aspects such as recycling behaviours and recycling in the curriculum.
Recycling in the United Kingdom
Recycling is the method by which waste is collected and processed into raw materials, which in turn
are processed into new products (Prestin and Pearce, 2010). This helps the UK comply with the EC
Landfill Directive targets that state to reduce the quantity of municipal waste going to landfill sites
(Kurz et al, 2007). The primary goal of recycling schemes is to increase the amount of material that is
collected and recycled, meaning that less waste is going to disposal (Lane and Wagner, 2013).
Woodard et al (2004) stated that the percentage of households in the United Kingdom involved in
recycling needed to continue to increase to reach the national target of recycling household waste,
therefore local authorities got involved in incentives, which is discussed later in the review. (Woodard
et al, 2004). A main concern in modern society is the current state of the environment; it is a topic that
is frequently examined in research. It has been found that people want to act in a way to enhance
sustainability in the environment and recycling is a fairly simple behaviour which has a major impact
on this. Recycling is also economically feasible whilst having great impacts on the

Machismo In Mexican Culture
Machismo, or male chauvinism, is a concept that characterizes many Latin American male behaviors,
most importantly those associated with masculinity and pride. This concept, most likely introduced to
New Spain by Spanish conquistadors who embodied these traits, was then adopted and integrated as a
part of Mexican culture going forward. Because of male masculinity prevailing over feminine traits
during the 17th century, misogyny and the oppression of women became a norm in Mexican culture.
Struggling to be valued in Mexico, women turned to literature and art to voice their opinions and
expose the machismo in Mexican culture. Through literature and art, is where feminism in Mexico
arose and is continually strengthen in. This paper will discuss the ways in which Mexican feminist
literature and art over time have exposed and challenged machismo, misogyny, and the Mexican
patriarchy since the Spanish Conquest.
One of the most important and controversial figures in Mexican history and literature is La Malinche.
La Malinche, also known as Dona Marina, Malintzin Tenepal or Malinalli, played a significant role in
the Spanish Conquest as translator and political mediator to Hernàn Cortèz. Although her importance
in the conquest is undeniable, her depiction in literature and as a woman have been up for debate and
the interpretations of her have influenced Mexican feminism. The two well known interpretations of
Malinche s story are polarized interpretations of the historical figure and

In the video The Confessions presented by Frontline, a murder of a women that was committed by one
man, quickly resulted into a false gang murder rape scene committed by eight men. The victim,
Michelle Bosko, was seen to be raped and killed in her apartment in Norfolk, Virginia. From the
video, it has been proven that seven out of the eight men that confessed were innocent, but somehow
they all received an unequal punishment. Because the innocent men admitted to a murder that they
didn t commit out of fear, they were all sentenced to some time in prison. The head detective, Glenn
Ford, intimidated the men so much that they either were convinced that they were at the crime scene
or they told him every detail that he wanted to hear. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The fact that Ford had to men so afraid disturbs me because I never knew that someone could make up
an entire lie of something that never happened. But because they are afraid, they are able to picture
themselves in a crime scene that they were nowhere near. Though the results of the lie detector tests
that were taken by all of the men were never explained or read to them, the police made the men think
that they failed the polygraph test even though they passed it. In a recent interview that Ballard gave
from prison, he tells Frontline that he committed the murder all by himself and that he understands
why the men committed to a murder that they didn t commit. He understood that he men confessed out
of fear and said anything just so that Ford would get out of their faces. Even after the murder and the
men were seem as not guilty, they still had to face circumstances in their outside worlds. The men
were now considered as sex offenders and it was hard for them to get a good job because of their
background. Every year, the men have to register as a sex offender due to the fact that they gave false
confessions out of intimidation. At the end however, Glenn Ford was indicted for receiving money
from defendants in exchange for a better treatment in prison. Although the men didn t get the justice
they needed right away, their lawyers were not finished with the case and they were soon to get them
the justice that they deserved. In conclusion, this video

The One Of The World s Oldest Instruments
The Didgeridoo is considered to be one of the world s oldest instruments. It is thought to have
originated in Northern Australia and researchers think it may have been in use for 40,000 years. There
are carvings on cave walls that depict the didgeridoo in use from the Kakadu people dating back about
1,000 years. (The Didjeridu: From Arnhem Land to the Internet) The first Didgeridoos were made of
eucalyptus trees limbs or Bamboo and that were hollowed out by termites. (McMahon) Aborigine
people living in Northern Australia would clean them out using sticks and cut them to an ideal length.
After cleaning the limbs or bamboo out, hot coals are used to kill any insects. Most didgeridoos range
from three to ten feet long. Length usually plays a role in pitch; if it is longer it has a lower tone and
shorter instruments have a higher pitch. Didgeridoos are usually conical in shape. The Didgeridoo is a
wind instrument or aerophone. It is called this because it uses air to vibrate and create sound within an
instrument. (Hornbostel and Sachs) The player blows air into the smaller end or mouthpiece and often
times people use beeswax to help create a seal with the lips and the instrument. Air pushed through the
lips help the lips to vibrate and create the sound. Today modern didgeridoo s can be made from a
variety of materials. Some are made of glass, metal, cactus or almost any material that can be
hollowed out into a tube.
Because of the irregular shape of the natural instrument

Maycomb was in a phase of diversity. In the beginning the story, readers learn about the state of
Maycomb. One of the main things that are apparent is the economic classes of Maycomb. In the story,

Cunninghams in the woods, the kind like the Ewells down at the dump, and the Negroes (page 226).
Maycomb may have been divided because of the trial, but economic class also had to do with it. To

Moving Away From Classical Chemotherapeutics
Moving away from Classical Chemotherapeutics:
A Review of Recent Advances in Targeted Chemotherapy
As an elegant manipulation of the cell cycle, cancer pathways have demanded significant attention by
the world s researchers. From molecular biology to inorganic chemistry, each field has conducted a
variety of studies to elucidate the pathways cancer manipulates in order to develop successful
treatments. To this end, chemotherapy emerged as a prominent research field in the early 1960s and is
a type of cancer treatment that uses drugs to stop or slow the growth of cancer cells.1 Classical
chemotherapeutics began with cisplatin and expanded to develop more potent second and third
generation analogues, such as oxaliplatin and carboplatin ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With a change in focus, recent advances in this field have led researchers to develop targeted
anticancer agents that have the potential to reduce the side effects associated with classical
chemotherapeutics, which include nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia,
nausea, vomiting, and hair loss.5,6 A promising advancement in chemotherapeutics is the
development of therapy that targets various biomolecules that are associated with cancer. Known as
targeted therapy, this offers significant potential for increasing selectivity by synthesizing compounds
that are directed towards cell signaling pathways known as important for cancer cell immortalization.7
Moreover, targeted therapy shows promise with synthesized drugs directed for cancer biomarkers
because it will increase selectivity to damage cancer cells instead of healthy cells.8 The early
generations of chemotherapeutics largely focused on creating more potent metal complexes, analogous
to the structure and function of cisplatin.4 However, with targeted therapy as a promising
advancement, the next generation of chemotherapeutics instead focuses on selectivity in the
preparation of transition metal complexes that are directed toward specific biomolecules that are
known to advance cancer cell

Narrative Essay About Moving School
Where have you had a hard time to fit in? What about moving schools? Or rather, moving to a
different part of school. I have been going to Hickman School for six years now, and came in second
grade. Time seemed to fly by as it was already time for middle school. Elementary is one thing, but
middle is another. And for the first day of sixth grade, I was pretty nervous. What would happen on
that unpredictable day?
For one thing, I really didn t know what middle school would be like, I had no idea what to expect.
Would it be easy? Would it be hard? One thing is for sure, elementary is very disparate from middle.
The schedules, the lockers, how long each class is, the homework, etc. I did go to Jumpstart, however,
and met the teachers, got my schedule, some supplies, and my locker. So it gave me a look at what

the car, got my backpack out, and started walking towards the round green tables by the lockers. This

this day would bring. When I was in elementary, I used to think that the middle school was extremely
far away. Now, however, I find them much closer together than I used to think they were. When I
started walking towards the middle school campus, the first thing I thought about doing was going to

That is to say that forced convection can be found in almost any heat transfer problem, and thus understanding its importance and how it affects a given problem is one of the more important learning objectives/outcomes of heat transfer. When dealing with forced convection the most important section, after understanding how convection works, is the convection heat transfer coefficient. The heat transfer coefficient for convection is denoted by (h) and is measured in w/m^2*K, this lab delves into the application of convection heat transfer and how it correlates to ... • 4. Macroeconomic Trends And Conditions Of New Zealand Essay In the following essay, various macroeconomic trends and conditions will be explored in reference to New Zealand. While New Zealand has a rich history dating back to prehistoric times, the main economic development began with the colonization by British explorers in the late 1700 s. Throughout time, the island nation has shared much with its British lineage in that it has been a predominately isolated island nation that relies heavily on international trade. While this has allowed New Zealand to become developed and prosperous, it also exposes their economy to global economic recessions and unexpected swings in various economic indicators. Sections in particular will focus on GDP, inflation, unemployment, credit markets, and lastly fiscal and monetary policy. New Zealand s GDP in 2014 was $198.1 billion U.S. Dollars, which ranks 49th in the world. Their economy is free market oriented and developed, and is routinely ranked as one of the more efficient and least corrupt economies in the entire world [2][3][10]. Currently, GDP expenditure in New Zealand is around 70% based in the services sector, 26% in the industrial sector, and the remaining 4% in agriculture. New Zealand has a high percentage of its GDP composed in both imports and exports in international trade, which stand around 28% for both respectively [2][3]. Because of this high reliance on international trade, the most recent economic recession from 2008 2009 saw real GDP contract for five quarters in a row, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Cause And Effect Of Water Vapor Water vapor. Out of all the gases, water vapor makes the largest contribution to the Earth s GHE (EPA, 2015). Water vapor has an atmospheric lifetime (AL) (defined as the approximate amount of time it would take for the anthropogenic increment to an atmospheric pollutant concentration to return to its natural level (assuming emissions cease) as a result of either being converted to another chemical compound or being taken out of the atmosphere via a sink (EPA, 2013)) of approximately 10 days (EPA, 2015). It is unlike other GHG and unique in the fact that when it reaches high enough concentrations in the atmosphere, it has the ability to condense into H2O liquid and can rain out from the atmosphere back to the surface of the Earth (EPA, 2015). It also acts as a feedback mechanism to climate change (IPCC, 2007; EPA, 2015). This is mainly due to two reasons. The first being that the total amount of H2O vapor that is in the atmosphere at any given time is directly related to the Earth s surface temperature (EPA, 2015). Secondly, the H2O vapor in the atmosphere can affect the formation of clouds which directly influence the GHE by cooling (reflecting heat from the Sun) or by warming (trapping heat in the atmosphere) the surface of the Earth (EPA, 2015). Essentially, any change in clouds such as type, location, water content, altitude, particle size or shape, and lifetimes can influence their effect on the cooling and warming of the Earth (IPCC, 2013). Therefore, any ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Comparing Dionysius And Socrates Ethics are what separates civilized men from savages, driving their decisions, and determining their destiny. The actions of both Dionysius and Socrates, in both Bacchae and Phaedrus respectively, are driven by their personal ethics and beliefs in justice. Bacchae, a Greek tragedy written by Euripides, tells the story of the Greek God Dionysus s arrival to ancient city of Thebes, and the city s reaction towards him and his strange religion. Phaedrus on the other hand is a dialogue, written by Plato, about a series of arguments between Socrates and Phaedrus starting with what makes a good speech, journeying into the fundamental understanding of the universe itself. Dionysius, the protagonist of Bacchae, having returned from south east Asia, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Dionysius here is essentially listing the injustices he as suffered by the city of Thebes, promising to make undo any harm he causes after being accepted, warns that his rejection will result in his wrath, and finally disguises himself as preacher to find willing followers. Dionysius views on justice are what separates him from the other gods, in that he acknowledges the harm his actions will bring to Thebes, promising to undo all the damage upon their acceptance of him, while most of the other gods would leave after satisfying their quest for vengeance. The most important line in this quote is the last sentence I ve transformed myself, assumed a mortal shape, altered my looks, so I resemble any human being (70 73) , in that he wants people to choose to follow him out of their own free will, rather than forcing or scaring the people into compliance. So, Dionysius starts out with good intentions, he wants to gain willing followers into his religion, achieve justice for the defamation of his mother, and be worshiped by other, but is forced to make good on his promise to ... John Adams played significant roles during the years of 1763 through 1776. He was in support of self governing and independence which caused him to become the leader of the Boston Massacre. Between 1765 and 1776, Adams s involvement in radical politics ran apace with the escalation of events. In 1770, he was elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives, and he later served as chief legal counsel to the Patriot faction and wrote several important resolutions for the lower house in its running battle with Governor Thomas Hutchinson. John Adams did not know who the artist of Massachusettensis was but he had a very strong feeling that it was Jonathan Sewell, later he discovered that his antagonist was Daniel Leonard. Many believe that John Adams played a role in the Boston Tea Party, but in actuality he had nothing to do with the Boston Tea Party, only thing Adams did was approve it. He felt it had reasonable motives, was very bold, and should be marked as a big moment in history. Adams believed British wouldn t respect the colonist rights unless someone forced them. That s how John Adams became one of the four most important Patriot leaders in Boston. After the Boston Tea Party, King George III grew highly furious because so much tea was destroyed and he closed the whole Boston port. Not only did King George III close the port of Boston but he was so extremely upset that he suspended all town meetings in Massachusetts colonies and instead of having Boston listed as the capital of Massachusetts, he made Salem the capital. This is my favourite constellation because to me, it is the most beautiful and is one of the most important backgrounds. In my personal opinion, it also has the most meaning to it. The young woman s name was Catalina, and was curious about the goddess who stood before her. She respectfully bowed. Catalina was selfless for everything except for one thing her beauty. So, she venturered far and wide to find the Garden of the Hesperides. One day, after many days of veturing, she found it, and only barely made it past Ladon. The friendship between Dymphna and Bethrah is that of two young normal girls for the most part. Due to Bethrah being black Dymphna still has somewhat of a prejudice mindset when addressing her. This is seen when Dymphna commented that she found it odd to ask Bethrah for her opinion. It sounded really strange asking her opinion when she was colored (Kelly 101). It s interesting to make mention of the fact that Dymphna says that she can be friends with Bethrah because there wasn t a possibility of social complications. The reason this is important is because Dymphna makes it seem as though she is only willing to be Bethrah s friend under the circumstances in which her reputation won t be damaged. • 16. The Problem Of Child Labor Introduction: Outside the natural beauty and scenery across Indonesia and its respective islands, the behind the scenes action of their economy and social development lies in income disparity and ill fated use of child labor. With a population of around 249.9 million, Indonesia is the fourth largest (in terms of population) in the world; however, 30 percent of the people are under 15 years old. Educational reforms have been at the forefront of the Indonesian government for years and expansion to free and public education access has had significant progress; unfortunately, more than 4 million children of junior secondary school age and below do not attend classes / lectures / seminars. Furthermore, most of these children are then forced to enter the workforce at a very young age and are vulnerable to exploitation. Based on strong research from the International Labour Organization (ILO), it is estimated that there are 3.2 million children between the ages of 10 17 years old in Indonesia engaged in employment with some involved in the worst forms of child labour. By definition, child labour is described as work that children should/could not be doing because they are too young, or if they are old enough to work because it is too dangerous and hazardous or otherwise unsuitable to them. In Indonesia, child labour can be broken down into three subcategories: domestic, plantation, and street/trafficking. Child domestic labour accounts for about 700,000 children with ... In 2015, roughly 2.3 million tonnes of garbage were thrown away in British Columbia alone, an average of 497 kilograms per capita. Imagine Canada s waste combined about 25 million tonnes. Often, household garbage ends up in landfills, but landfills are piling up and reaching maximum capacity. Unfortunately, it is becoming a struggle to find new areas to dispose of the tonnes of waste. Additionally, the problem of over capacitated landfills contributes to the environment s health and as a consequence, make approximately 25% of Canada s greenhouse gas emissions. Improperly discarding items, like batteries, electronics, and so forth, also contributes to the environment s health, creating the risk of water and soil contamination. It is up to Canadians and the decisions they make when it comes to recycling and protecting the environment. Most household items, such as TV remotes, cell phones, wireless video game controllers, and more, require batteries to operate. Ultimately, single use or rechargeable batteries run out of juice or corrode, and become no longer usable. Nonetheless, Canadians are guilty disposing of batteries improperly, whether in the garbage bin or the blue bin, that later enter landfills. In particular, one difference to note is that of medicine and beliefs about illness. In the East, one is responsible for keeping their mind and thoughts healthy in order to stave off illness. An internal affecting the external. In the West, when the mind and body are altered by the environment in certain ways, this causes illness. External affecting internal. These philosophical and cultural differences stem from thousands of years of separate evolution. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) began in the third century BC. Traditional Chinese medicine incorporated the idea of balance with the ying/yang from Taoism and an emphasis on harmony, moral conduct and social ethics from Confucianism. The central dogma is that the health of each organ depends on its relationship to all other organs, thus nothing changes without changing the whole (Scheper Hughes, 12). Western medicine had a very different history. It began in Ancient Greece with Hippocrates, who wanted to eradicate magico religious beliefs from health practices and make medicine more rational. This became the norm in the West for over a millennium. This form of medicine was further incorporated into western society with Rene Descartes, who described his consciousness as one thing (mind) and his body as a separate other. She argues that many undergraduate students cannot perform this idea correctly, because as they write they never had the opportunity to get taught to examine and synthesize a piece of writing correctly. Students need to understand how to view facts as claims, or view writing as a serial of creative ideas and drafts that drive to a final distinctive piece of work. In this article Kantz described how students think as they are writing, she used personal experiences, introduces rhetorical situation, and used ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. Recycling At The United Kingdom Recycling is a process that continues to develop and become more popular within waste management. As there is a wide amount of literature relating to this topic the following review will focus in on aspects such as recycling behaviours and recycling in the curriculum. Recycling in the United Kingdom Recycling is the method by which waste is collected and processed into raw materials, which in turn are processed into new products (Prestin and Pearce, 2010). This helps the UK comply with the EC Landfill Directive targets that state to reduce the quantity of municipal waste going to landfill sites (Kurz et al, 2007). The primary goal of recycling schemes is to increase the amount of material that is collected and recycled, meaning that less waste is going to disposal (Lane and Wagner, 2013). Woodard et al (2004) stated that the percentage of households in the United Kingdom involved in recycling needed to continue to increase to reach the national target of recycling household waste, therefore local authorities got involved in incentives, which is discussed later in the review. (Woodard et al, 2004). A main concern in modern society is the current state of the environment; it is a topic that is frequently examined in research. It has been found that people want to act in a way to enhance sustainability in the environment and recycling is a fairly simple behaviour which has a major impact on this. Recycling is also economically feasible whilst having great impacts on the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. Machismo In Mexican Culture Machismo, or male chauvinism, is a concept that characterizes many Latin American male behaviors, most importantly those associated with masculinity and pride. This concept, most likely introduced to New Spain by Spanish conquistadors who embodied these traits, was then adopted and integrated as a part of Mexican culture going forward. Because of male masculinity prevailing over feminine traits during the 17th century, misogyny and the oppression of women became a norm in Mexican culture. Struggling to be valued in Mexico, women turned to literature and art to voice their opinions and expose the machismo in Mexican culture. Through literature and art, is where feminism in Mexico arose and is continually strengthen in. This paper will discuss the ways in which Mexican feminist literature and art over time have exposed and challenged machismo, misogyny, and the Mexican patriarchy since the Spanish Conquest. One of the most important and controversial figures in Mexican history and literature is La Malinche. La Malinche, also known as Dona Marina, Malintzin Tenepal or Malinalli, played a significant role in the Spanish Conquest as translator and political mediator to Hernàn Cortèz. Although her importance in the conquest is undeniable, her depiction in literature and as a woman have been up for debate and the interpretations of her have influenced Mexican feminism. The two well known interpretations of Malinche s story are polarized interpretations of the historical figure and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In the video The Confessions presented by Frontline, a murder of a women that was committed by one man, quickly resulted into a false gang murder rape scene committed by eight men. The victim, Michelle Bosko, was seen to be raped and killed in her apartment in Norfolk, Virginia. From the video, it has been proven that seven out of the eight men that confessed were innocent, but somehow they all received an unequal punishment. Because the innocent men admitted to a murder that they didn t commit out of fear, they were all sentenced to some time in prison. The head detective, Glenn Ford, intimidated the men so much that they either were convinced that they were at the crime scene or they told him every detail that he wanted to hear. ... But because they are afraid, they are able to picture themselves in a crime scene that they were nowhere near. Though the results of the lie detector tests that were taken by all of the men were never explained or read to them, the police made the men think that they failed the polygraph test even though they passed it. In a recent interview that Ballard gave from prison, he tells Frontline that he committed the murder all by himself and that he understands why the men committed to a murder that they didn t commit. He understood that he men confessed out of fear and said anything just so that Ford would get out of their faces. Even after the murder and the men were seem as not guilty, they still had to face circumstances in their outside worlds. The men were now considered as sex offenders and it was hard for them to get a good job because of their background. Every year, the men have to register as a sex offender due to the fact that they gave false confessions out of intimidation. At the end however, Glenn Ford was indicted for receiving money from defendants in exchange for a better treatment in prison. • 35. The One Of The World s Oldest Instruments The Didgeridoo is considered to be one of the world s oldest instruments. It is thought to have originated in Northern Australia and researchers think it may have been in use for 40,000 years. There are carvings on cave walls that depict the didgeridoo in use from the Kakadu people dating back about 1,000 years. (The Didjeridu: From Arnhem Land to the Internet) The first Didgeridoos were made of eucalyptus trees limbs or Bamboo and that were hollowed out by termites. (McMahon) Aborigine people living in Northern Australia would clean them out using sticks and cut them to an ideal length. After cleaning the limbs or bamboo out, hot coals are used to kill any insects. Most didgeridoos range from three to ten feet long. Length usually plays a role in pitch; if it is longer it has a lower tone and shorter instruments have a higher pitch. Didgeridoos are usually conical in shape. The Didgeridoo is a wind instrument or aerophone. It is called this because it uses air to vibrate and create sound within an instrument. (Hornbostel and Sachs) The player blows air into the smaller end or mouthpiece and often times people use beeswax to help create a seal with the lips and the instrument. Air pushed through the lips help the lips to vibrate and create the sound. Today modern didgeridoo s can be made from a variety of materials. Some are made of glass, metal, cactus or almost any material that can be hollowed out into a tube. Because of the irregular shape of the natural instrument ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There s the ordinary kind like us and the neighbors, there s the kind like the Cunninghams in the woods, the kind like the Ewells down at the dump, and the Negroes (page 226). Moving Away From Classical Chemotherapeutics Moving away from Classical Chemotherapeutics: A Review of Recent Advances in Targeted Chemotherapy As an elegant manipulation of the cell cycle, cancer pathways have demanded significant attention by the world s researchers. From molecular biology to inorganic chemistry, each field has conducted a variety of studies to elucidate the pathways cancer manipulates in order to develop successful treatments. To this end, chemotherapy emerged as a prominent research field in the early 1960s and is a type of cancer treatment that uses drugs to stop or slow the growth of cancer cells.1 Classical chemotherapeutics began with cisplatin and expanded to develop more potent second and third generation analogues, such as oxaliplatin and carboplatin ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... With a change in focus, recent advances in this field have led researchers to develop targeted anticancer agents that have the potential to reduce the side effects associated with classical chemotherapeutics, which include nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, nausea, vomiting, and hair loss.5,6 A promising advancement in chemotherapeutics is the development of therapy that targets various biomolecules that are associated with cancer. Known as targeted therapy, this offers significant potential for increasing selectivity by synthesizing compounds that are directed towards cell signaling pathways known as important for cancer cell immortalization.7 Moreover, targeted therapy shows promise with synthesized drugs directed for cancer biomarkers because it will increase selectivity to damage cancer cells instead of healthy cells.8 The early generations of chemotherapeutics largely focused on creating more potent metal complexes, analogous to the structure and function of cisplatin.4 However, with targeted therapy as a promising advancement, the next generation of chemotherapeutics instead focuses on selectivity in the preparation of transition metal complexes that are directed toward specific biomolecules that are known to advance cancer cell ... I have been going to Hickman School for six years now, and came in second grade. Time seemed to fly by as it was already time for middle school. Elementary is one thing, but middle is another. And for the first day of sixth grade, I was pretty nervous. What would happen on that unpredictable day? For one thing, I really didn t know what middle school would be like, I had no idea what to expect. Would it be easy? Would it be hard? One thing is for sure, elementary is very disparate from middle. The schedules, the lockers, how long each class is, the homework, etc. I did go to Jumpstart, however, and met the teachers, got my schedule, some supplies, and my locker.
