I. OBJECTIVES
A. Most Essential Learning Competency: EN7OL-I-b1.14: Employ a variety of
strategies for effective interpersonal communication (Interview, Dialogue,
Conversation)
B. Specific Objectives
1. Define what is communication and its three types;
2. Distinguish the strategies in interpersonal communication;
3. Apply strategies to create an effective conversation or dialogue; and
4. Employ strategies for an effective interview.

Question to ponder:
 Do you believe that communication is essential part in our everyday
life? Why or not?
 Study the following pictures and do what it say.
C. ESTABLISHING THE PURPOSE OF THE LESSON
 The teacher will process the students’ answer and what this question
has something to do with the lesson today.
 A review lesson: The teacher will ask the students if who among them
know the types of communication. Ask them to give examples also.
D. DISCUSSING NEW CONCEPTS AND SKILSS
 Continue, “Very good! Today, we are going to define what
Communication is, three types of verbal communication and how they
differ from one another.”
 “Also, we will learn the different strategies in interpersonal
communication such as in dialogue/conversation as well as in the
interview to become effective interviewer”.
 The teacher discusses the definition of Communication (Internal) and
its three types as well as the strategies for effective
dialogue/conversation and interviewer.

ESTABLISHING THE PURPOSE OF THE LESSON  The teacher will process the students’ answer and what this question has something to do with the lesson today.  A review lesson: The teacher will ask the students if who among them know the types of communication. Ask them to give examples also.
