This document discusses types of informal reports used in business communication. It describes the difference between information reports, which present descriptive data, and analytical reports, which interpret and analyze data. Common informal reports include conference reports, progress reports, minutes reports, summary reports, recommendation reports, feasibility reports, and yardstick reports. Each report type is used for a different purpose, such as providing an overview of a meeting, updating progress, summarizing information, or making recommendations. Examples and image sources are also provided.
