- Old Way - Cut out articles, clips from the paper. Scrapbooks\nCurrent Way - Bookmarking on the computer, like we discussed\nNext Generation - “Cloud” computing...but what does that mean?\n

- delicious is a social bookmarking tool\n social bookmarking: storing bookmarks on the web with a community of other people\n Biggest benefits of social bookmarking:\n can access bookmarks on any computer (or handheld web-accessible device);\n can organize them with multiple Tags;\n can find additional bookmarks by seeing what other people have stored.\n

- Be sure to use your Yahoo email address, not your school email address\nYour user name can be whatever you want...mine is MikeDial\n
- Open a new Tab in your internet browser\n\nGo search and find a website you want to bookmark\n
- Emphasize TAGS\n 1) Organization\n 2) Sharing\n 3) Some “suggested” tags might be given for you. If you want to use these, just click on them\n 4) OR enter your own tags. Once you’re done, click Save\n
- If you want to avoid the Copy & Paste method, there is a way to download a Del.icio.us icon to your internet browser that allows you to eliminate the need to go to the Del.icio.us website. I recommend this for the computer you are going to be working on the majority of the time.\n
- Network - this is where you create a list of people who you want to share bookmarks with. Hence, the “collaboration” piece of this PD\nSubscriptions - you can subscribe so that you get an email when sites are TAGed with TAGs you like\nInbox - if you find a bookmark you want to send to others, you can send it directly to them over the del.icio.us network\n
