This document provides an overview of the many ways that Discovery Education streaming resources can be integrated into technology in education. It highlights full length video segments, current events clips, educational songs, podcasts, images, interactive whiteboards, learning stations, and student response systems as some of the potential applications. Discovery Education offers over 500 songs, 20,000 images, and full length documentary videos that can be used across content areas.

28. Fast Fiction Students were given a set of 10-15 photos, all relating to one topic. They could select only 5 of the photos to use with their story. Once photos are selected, they write a short story. The photos are pulled into Power Point and they record their story on each slide. Finally, students export the presentation as a Quicktime movie.
