Co-curricular activities take place outside the classroom and supplement what students learn inside. They develop students' reasoning, critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills while also supporting emotional and social development. Teachers play an important role as planners, organizers, directors, and evaluators to provide opportunities for indoor activities like debates and commerce clubs as well as outdoor activities like visits to industries, trade fairs, and excursions. Co-curricular activities complement academic learning and help students develop a sense of belongingness and respect for others.
