Climate change is caused by trapping carbon in the atmosphere from burning fossil fuels, which warms the planet. This causes glaciers to melt and sea levels to rise, bringing more extreme weather and impacting humans and animals. Bees spend more time cooling their hives than making honey and pollinating flowers due to the warmer climate. Fewer trees also means less carbon absorption, worsening air quality. While climate change poses risks, it may also benefit some countries through longer growing seasons and new shipping routes. Many nations are working to reduce fossil fuel usage to mitigate these issues.
