Final Year Project
 Project Name : Solar Based DC pump control for irrigation system
 Description : Study of Solar cells,
Series pattern is used for maximum voltage gain.
Study of cost efficiency.
Use of safety interlocks :
 Tank high low circuit:
This circuit helps to run the motor only when the water level in the ta
nk is between the low and high marking. The pump remains off below low level a
nd above high level.
 Dry run trip circuit:
This circuit protects the pump from dry running. If the tank is empty
the pump remains off.
Level sensors: wires were used as level sensor.
Maximum power point tracking is used for providing rated power to the Pump.
