Circle K aims to become the largest convenience store operator in Indonesia. It currently has 290 stores across the country. To achieve its goal, it proposes three technology and business innovation ideas: 1) Improve its website and use of social media to help franchisees and promote to customers. 2) Integrate the point-of-sale system with head office for real-time inventory control and sales reports. 3) Create an online business review site for franchisees. Developing the technology in-house would reduce costs. Financial projections estimate the investment cost could be recovered within 2 months.
