Cnidarians are soft-bodied animals with stinging cells that have two main forms in their life cycle, polyp and medusa. They have a gastrovascular cavity for digestion where food is pulled inside and broken down outside cells. Major groups include jellyfish, hydras, sea anemones, and corals, which all move using hydrostatic skeletons and muscles.
