Celador is an independent production company formed in 1983 by Paul Smith and Jasper Carrot. It originally produced radio and television shows but later expanded into film production. Celador finances its films through a variety of methods like bank loans, private investments, and selling distribution rights. It competes with large studios like Sony but is able to produce lower budget films more efficiently through hiring freelancers rather than maintaining its own production team.

project as they are not restricted to just one crew.
