Celador is a British entertainment company formed in 1983 by Jasper Carrot and Paul Smith that is best known for creating the game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?". It has had success in film production, winning eight Oscars for "Slumdog Millionaire" in 2009. Though it has faced challenges from being taken over and having to regain independence, Celador continues operating as an independent production company through project-based film and television productions.
