Celador is a British production company formed in 1983 that is best known for producing the game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. While Celador is a small company, it has been successful in releasing seven films over ten years. However, it faces competition from much larger studios like Sony Pictures and production companies like Film4. To fund its film The Descent, Celador had to co-fund the project and sell the distribution rights to Pathe upfront to raise enough money for production.

He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
2. Ownership
• Celador is a production company that was
formed in 1983. It produced entertainment
shows and the most famous one is Who Wants to
Be a Millionaire. Celador was set up by Jasper
Carrott and Paul Smith. When it was under the
ownership of Complete Communications, Celador
went on to expand its fledgling radio, film and
international business. Complete
Communications said they was selling the
company which led Celador to sell out the
company.
3. Celador Productions
Celador have released seven films in ten years. The seven films are:
• Centurion (2010)
• Scouting book for boys (2009)
• Slumdog millionaire (2008)
• The Descent (2005)
• The Descent 2 (2009)
• Dirty Pretty Things (2002)
They also have released television shows. The Television shows are:
• Who wants to be a millionaire
• The Detectives
They are currently working on a film production, Radio broadcasting,
theatrical production and music publishing. They have two radio
stations called Breeze and Jack FM.
4. Market position and competitors
Celador is only a small production company although they are actually
successful. They have released seven films in ten years. Even though
Celador is a small company it has big competitors.
One of their big competitors is Sony Pictures Entertainment. Sony
released a film called The Smurfs, it was released on 24th July 2011.
The film made $110,000,000. $563.7 million.
Another big competitors is Film4. Film4 released a film called This Is
England. The film made £1,500,000. It had a £25,000 profit.
Another big competitors is DNA. DNA made a film called 28 Days Later.
The film made $8,000,000. £57,000,000
Celador isn’t more successful than Sony because Sony is a world wide
company and it also has bigger budgets allowing them to have world
wide appeal. Although Celador is more successful than Film4 because
Film4’s This Is England made a loss more than a profit.
5. Operating Model
Pathe would co fund by getting money from banks and
private investments and give it to Celador so they had
enough money to make The descent into a film.
In order for Celador to make The Descent they had to co
fund the film, they invested half the budget from their
own profits made from other media products. They sold
the distribution rights to Pathe for the Descent before the
film was made to use that money to produce the film.
Celador does not like to use a in house Production team.
They have to hire freelancers on a project by project
basis.
