“India had only metered or non-metered taxis.A non-metered taxi was called ‘rent a car’ but it
was not really the same thing.”
• The company has its footprint in more than 250 locations including 10 airports
• It founded by Mr. Rajiv K.Vij in the year 2000.
• When Carzonrent launched in 2000, the taxi business in India looked very
different.
Business Purpose to Entry in India
• Technology plays a critical role and each stream of revenue is important

• Technology model that helps us to execute newer products, newer services and
expand the fleet and manage
The First Steps
• Simple from the outside but quite complex due to of a number of permutations in
client requests
• Implementation of INSTA in a phased manner
• It is used at over 50 locations including contact centers, branch offices.

• Understanding the changing times, the client need of a self-hosted technology solution on
iOS and Android platform
• CarzonRent to allow customers to complete a rental contract using a mobile device
• Carzonrent wanted to become a technology-driven, nationally networked car rental
company
• INSTA, aWeb-based platform that was a sophisticated online reservation management
and billing system.
The Project
• Need to fix the issue of project INSTA
• Sophisticated online reservation management and billing system
• Give the rental company's customers a way to book themselves cars on their own
• Create an integrated payment gateway which would enable the pre-authorization
of payments
SOLUTIONAPPROACH
• To enable clients, make online bookings through mobile devices team here
developed fully integrated consumer-facing mobile app
• Simple booking management and cancellation user could modify, review and
cancel bookings as desired
• . Drivers can accept or reject a request ensuring timely reply to passengers.
• A new SOS feature enabled passengers to intimate law officers in case of trouble
with an instant dial
