Career Education Re-imagined: Ryerson’s New Model of Holistic Career Development Caroline Konrad, Director, Career Centre and Rachel Barreca, Lead Campus Engagement Consultant, Ryerson University Ryerson is transforming the way our students engage with their career education. This presentation shares key facets of the Ryerson Career Model, including proactive, thoughtful collaborations with Student Affairs partners and an integrated approach which bases teams both in Faculty and the Career Centre. The session will also cover how the model, which is grounded in student development theory, takes into account the diverse needs of equity-seeking groups, and focuses on delivery formats which emphasize peer learning and formal engagement with student groups and leaders.
