The 7th grade math teacher will implement a BYOD/BYOT program using the Google/Chrome platform because it is compatible across multiple networks and devices. Students without their own devices will be provided a school laptop or iPad. Students will work in various group structures depending on the assignment, allowing for both collaboration and individual learning using a variety of apps to prepare them for real world problem solving.

1. The platform used in my classroom will be Google/Chrome Apps. I chose this platform
because it is compatible on multiple networks. You can access Google apps on any web
browser.
2. Students who do not have their own devices will receive a school device. There are a
school set of laptops and i-pads. These will be given to students who are not able to bring
their own device.
3. Students will work in various type groups based on the assignment. Working in teams
will mean using less devices. This will allow group collaboration and promote interactive
learning. When working individual this will promote individual learning. Students will
get a variety of learning experiences which will prepare them for several real world
problems.
