BYOD/BYOT Implementation Plan Kindergarten Math
1. https://www.forsyth.k12.ga.us/byotresources
This is the ling to the BYOD that Forsyth County School System uses.
2. Platform: The platform that I will use in my classroom is Chrome and Google Apps. I
selected this platform because our students are usually more familiar with using tablets
that have Chrome and Google Apps. So, I decided this would be much easier for my
students to navigate.
3. Students without devices: Since our school is one to one with technology every
classroom is allotted their own classroom set of tablets, so I will be able to allow a
student to borrow a tablet during the school day.
4. Grouping Students: Grouping will vary for different activities. Depending on the
activity I might want students to work alone so I can see what they really know. In other
cases, I might have them in pairs, or I call them the Peanut Butter and Jelly Partners.
Pairs work better for Kindergarten students because they only have one person to
interacted with.
