• Explore and obtain clarity about problem situation
Methods used:
• In depth interview
• Experience survey
HYPOTHESIS
• Null Hypothesis(H0) - Kids are adversely being affected by smart devices
• Alternative Hypothesis(H1)- Kids are not affected by use of Smart devices.
• Children are being affected mentally & physically by using smart devices.
• Parents are the ones introducing them the devices.
• Children are getting addicted to the devices.
• Its high time, parents should adopt to other recreational activities.
• Children are more likely to use smart devices rather than toys/
playing with friends.

A. Animated or cartoon movie related or stories and rhymes

A. 80%- Eating time, After school. 15%- when they are crying .

A. 80%- 2hrs, 20%- 4 to 5hrs
Q. Do Children try to imitate what they have seen over Internet devices?
A. 60% Yes, 40% No
Q. Any adverse effect scenario where they became violent while imitating

A. Games and videos 70% online, 30% games offline on stadium with parents like soccer, cricket,NBA

A. Mostly yes yet few don’t know about it

A. Sad, lonely, don’t talk much, introvert, addictive, aggressive

A. Obesity, neck pain, poor eye sight

Probability Sampling
• The sampling method used in this research is Probability, as the target population is
known & finite.
• The Probability technique used is Stratified sampling procedure, where we divided the
groups based on Region- North India & South India

HYPOTHESIS • Null Hypothesis(H0) - Kids are adversely being affected by smart devices • Alternative Hypothesis(H1)- Kids are not affected by use of Smart devices. • Children are being affected mentally & physically by using smart devices. • Parents are the ones introducing them the devices. • Children are getting addicted to the devices. • Its high time, parents should adopt to other recreational activities. • Children are more likely to use smart devices rather than toys/ playing with friends.
