Social behavior describes how individuals interact within a society and is divided into positive and negative forms. Bullying is an example of negative social behavior, where individuals use force, threats, or aggression to dominate others repeatedly over time. Bullies often target timid or less brave individuals, hurting them physically and sometimes fatally. Bullies engage in this behavior to feel dominant or release anger, and many bullies are or have been depressed. Both bullies and victims experience negative effects of bullying, so it is a harmful form of social behavior that should not be practiced.
