This document discusses key aspects of reproductive health, including definitions, rights, and challenges. Reproductive health is defined as not only being free from disease or illness related to the reproductive system and its functions, but also physical, mental, and social well-being. It discusses how international agreements recognize reproductive health and rights. It identifies some of the main causes of reproductive health issues as gender inequality, lack of women's autonomy over their own bodies, and lack of access to adequate healthcare. Violence against women can also negatively impact their reproductive health.
