This document summarizes a 3D laser scan survey of two sites in Belfast City Centre for a new student accommodation development. At the first site, a 3D survey was conducted of the surrounding 3 city blocks to capture all adjacent buildings for construction of an accurate 3D model. At the second smaller site, a survey of 1 block was done. A total of 40 scans were taken over 3 days using a Leica Scan Station C10 laser scanner. The scans were combined and exported to modeling software to create 3D polyline window openings for right of light analysis, with the 3D models and window lines delivered within 5 days.
