17. Results from Customer View The product have been used to update the 38 Municipalities for Landuse, Hydrography, & Roads layers. The final maps were also tested randomically and the client found that they were in accordance with the Brazilian Cartographic Standardization accuracy known as PEC A for the 1:25.000 scale.

18. Conclusion The choice for SPOT-5 was due to a competitive price for the State Government Tender. We had a positive feedback from customer that are distributing the maps to all 38 municipalities that will use it on their Municipal Director Plan. The project was also a break of paradigms from traditional cartography, based only on aerial photos. It was the first time in Brazil that maps was produced on 1:25.000 scale, based exclusively on orbital images
