Assemble articles and arrange
systematically
Arrange them in reverse order of use.
Finish one side of bed then go to
opposite side.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR BED MAKING
Wash hands before and after procedure.
Do not expose patient.
Protect patient from drought and any injury due to fall.
Do not cover patient's face while making bed.
Don't mix clean and soiled linen.
Don't use blanket directly over the patient's skin
except bath blanket.
Don't shake linen.
 Don't allow linen to touch yourself or your
uniform Maintain good body mechanics.
 Practice economy.
 Make bed firm, smooth and wrinkle free.
 Make adaptation to bed as per weather.
 Use extra help for bed patients
 Keep reasonable distance from patients.
