LO: TO WRITE A FINAL VERSION OF MY B324 FILM PRODUCTION
EVALUATION.

This will involve discussing:
 Researching codes and conventions
 Similar films
 Music
 Character research
 Target audience
You must give specific examples (for example what specific
films or film characters were of inspiration).
Planning
A discussion of all of the planning that was accomplished.
This will involve discussing:
 Brainstorming ideas
 Storyboarding
 Scripting
 Casting of actors
 Location scouting
You must specify the areas you made a valid contribution
explaining some of the contributions you made.
Actual Shoot
A discussion of how you felt the actual shoot went.
This will involve discussing:
 Learning to use new equipment
 Weather
 Success of each shoot? Any complications?
 Reliability of actors/crew
 Did you have to reshoot? Why?
It may be a good idea to break this into WWW/EBI.
Post Production
A discussion of how you felt the the editing stages went.
This will involve discussing:
 Learning to use new equipment
 Edit problems
 Sound editing
 Special effects and titles
It may be a good idea to break this into WWW/EBI.
Final Film
A discussion of how you felt the final film turned out.
This will involve discussing:
 Was it as expected
 What went well?
 What would improve it?
 What stage of production did you enjoy the most?

B324 Evaluation Overview

  • 1. B324 Film Evaluation LO: TO WRITE A FINAL VERSION OF MY B324 FILM PRODUCTION EVALUATION.
  • 2. Research A discussion of all of the research that was accomplished. This will involve discussing:  Researching codes and conventions  Similar films  Music  Character research  Target audience You must give specific examples (for example what specific films or film characters were of inspiration).
  • 3. Planning A discussion of all of the planning that was accomplished. This will involve discussing:  Brainstorming ideas  Storyboarding  Scripting  Casting of actors  Location scouting You must specify the areas you made a valid contribution explaining some of the contributions you made.
  • 4. Actual Shoot A discussion of how you felt the actual shoot went. This will involve discussing:  Learning to use new equipment  Weather  Success of each shoot? Any complications?  Reliability of actors/crew  Did you have to reshoot? Why? It may be a good idea to break this into WWW/EBI.
  • 5. Post Production A discussion of how you felt the the editing stages went. This will involve discussing:  Learning to use new equipment  Edit problems  Sound editing  Special effects and titles It may be a good idea to break this into WWW/EBI.
  • 6. Final Film A discussion of how you felt the final film turned out. This will involve discussing:  Was it as expected  What went well?  What would improve it?  What stage of production did you enjoy the most?
