• Requests for PeopleSoft enhancement resulted in large effort estimates and
costs
• Deliverables for enhancements were not adequate, resulting in additional
customizations and/or bug fixes

supported PeopleSoft Instances (from Oracle Support)

PaaS services. HMS leverages cloud services in a truly hybrid model.
• HMS maintains the HITRUST certification which includes applications built on
the Azure platform.
• Biggest challenge is keeping current with the latest changes and enhancements.
HMS utilizes several key staff member who work alongside Microsoft product
management, technical experts and other SMEs as part of the Azure Advisors
group.

• Request for data encryption both at REST and in TRANSIT

• No standard IT documentation and operating procedures for production
support and minimal knowledge transfer

• One PeopleSoft Instance was upgraded to latest PeopleSoft Finance 9.2
Application and 8.55 PeopleTools Version as part of the migration
• Re-designed Interface solutions for Azure
• Setup Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for Support as per our (the client)
requirements and standards
