• Many people that might have the need to make a capital expenditure
request are not regular PeopleSoft users

workflow for these requests

• Commodity Codes are used on Bills of Lading to group and identify
products for freight rating and insurance purposes
• Commodity Codes in PeopleSoft often correspond to Freight Classes
• Items are assigned a Commodity Code
