Reflection On Cultural Communication
During the implementation of the research plan, I did have a few issues and changes I had to adjust
with a few methods that I had previously stated. The one idea I completely removed from my plan was
the idea of traveling to Houston with Bhavik to visit with him and his family members due to the busy
holiday schedule, nothing could be worked out. On the plus side, using social media he was able to
send me videos and snapchats of Hindu decorations, food and videos of him spending time with his
family and although the clips were short it gave a good sense of how the culture was still instilled in
their family even though they now reside in the United States. As I was getting started off on the
project and my research the conversation seemed to be easier said than done. Although, I was very
fortunate enough to know someone of another culture beforehand for the project ultimately it created a
challenging task during the discussions making it slightly harder to stay on topic. After the first few
meetings, we planned to get together and focus on correcting the issue of staying on topic and it
seemed to decrease after time and the flow of cultural communication was more achievable and easier

Overall, I believe a majority of my plan was a success, I personally feel both of us were very open to

The last basin in the Basin and Range before the Sierra Nevada Mountain range is the Mono Basin.
The Mono Basin consists of landforms such as the Mono Inyo Craters, Black Point, Negit Island,
Paoha Island, Mono Lake, Devils Punch Bowl, Panum Crater, and some others (Hamburger et al;
2004). All of these landforms were created by volcanism. Actually, the Mono Basin is in one of the
most volcanically active places in the world (Forest Service; 2004). Paoha Island, Negit Island, and

After graduation, I searched for jobs and most of the time I froze up in the interviews. The only
interview I nailed was an interview for teaching position for Duval County School Board. Therefore, I
became a part of the teaching profession in the fall of 1998 teaching Biology, Algebra I, Physical
Science, and Chemistry in different years up until 2001. Additional, I was a science adjunct professor
for two years at Florida Community College in Jacksonville. I started the five year process of
becoming an AME ministry with my initial sermon in December of 1998 at Wayman Chapel AME
Church and my pastor was Rev. Mark L. Griffin. The church voted for me to be licensed in the
quarterly conference in January 1999. I was examined by Presiding Elder DeSue in January 1999,
examined by the District Conference in February 1999, and examined by the East Florida Conference
of the Eleventh Episcopal District of the AME Church Board of Examiners in April 1999.
Instructors advised me to attend seminary while I was attending the Board of Examiners. They

The passage shows characteristics of animal agency. Patroclus had the intentions to charge into battle,
hoping to push back the Trojans far enough for the Achaeans to be safe for another day, but he could
not control the situation, as he did not intend for a god to attack him. As Patroclus is stunned in battle,
Hector watches over him like prey. Hector is a warrior of the Trojans and so it is his duty to attack
