Space Persuasive Essay
Does it feel like there are too many humans overpopulating the Earth? Cause eventually the Earth will
have no more space for humans and has exhausted its resources making life difficult to prosper. Well
fear not, there are space companies like the National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA)
and SpaceX trying to search throughout the universe for the possibilities of human survival. One of
Jupiter s four largest moon called Europa, discovered by the Galileo spacecraft created from NASA,
believed to contain water essential towards human life. The more reasons on why humans all over
Earth should consider space exploration as one of the top priority, because Earth s resources would
slowly be depleted as time goes on. Therefore, the use of space instruments to analyze evidence,
viewing Europa s surface on the possibilities of finding water, the building of fuel depots in space to
refuel spacecrafts, and information from spacecrafts are all necessary for human life outside of ...

Beer Essay
Our trip to the Sierra Nevada brewery in Chico was very enjoyable. It is always nice to take a long
drive to see somewhere you haven t seen before and be able to see new places along the way. It s only
better when you get to do it with some enjoyable people and get to learn a few things about something
as interesting as the process of brewing beer. Over the short duration of our trip I ve a acquired some
funny stories that work by themselves but I m happy that I get to tell them all. Though the drives may
have been long and the gas expensive but I would definitely do it again. Part of my story about the trip
starts before I even arrive at school. A few minutes before I get to the school I start hearing the

Later as I m driving I figure that the detour to Walmart must have put us far behind everyone else and
we were going to be the last ones there. I though it wouldn t have really mattered but then we get a
call that Nick, Joe, and I are going to be sharing a room with Logan and I m pretty sure that was
because we weren t there to protest. So our little detour did matter. It was a strange feeling once we
got all settled into the hotel room because after such a long drive we felt like were on the road the
entire day and the fact that it was already dark supported that feeling so when we got settled into our
room we felt like going to sleep but we realized that it was only about three o clock. So of course we
couldn t go to sleep then otherwise our sleep schedules would be completely thrown off so we would
just wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to go back to sleep. So after spending a couple
of hours in the room doing whatever we could to kill the time I remember that I have a Buffalo Wild
Wings gift card in my glove department that I ve had for about a year. I figured that now would be as
good of a time as any to use it and it would help us kill some time. So my temporary roommates and I
decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings even though a couple of us didn t have any money to order
anything. I decided to order a burger and a happy hour special of nachos that were five dollars. I got

Performance Championship Titles
Different Performance Championship Titles Your Dog Can Earn
For dogs to have a championship or Ch designation that is added as a prefix to their name, they must
qualify for a championship. In the past, title are earned from conformation shows, where dogs are
judged based on their breed, and how they conform to established breed types and individual breed
standards. These days, however, dogs are considered champions if they attain a high degree of
perfection in other dogs sports and performance championships.
Different kinds of performance championships for dogs
Championship titles often differ from one club to another. The American Kennel Club, for example,
has the Amateur Field Trial Champion (AFC), Coonhound Field Champion (CFC), and Supreme

Summary Of Claudia Macteer
Summary
Claudia MacTeer is an adult, telling us about certain events that took place in the fall of 1941. She was
a child back then, around nine years old, but she still remembered how the marigolds didn t bloom that
fall, and she and her sister thought it was probably because of their friend, Pecola, was having her
father s baby. She then tells us that Pecola s father, Cholly Breedlove and the baby are dead.
Then there s the first season, a flashback, in Autumn in 1940, a year before the fall when no marigolds
were blooming. Claudia and her older sister, Frieda, have just started school. That autumn the
Macteers accepted Mr. Henry (Henry Washington) as a roomer because his rent would help pay the
bills and also because his former roommate was too addled to keep up. Then the family soon after got
another roomer, Pecola Breedlove, an eleven year old, dark skinned girl whom county officials placed
her there after her father burned the family s house down.
Pecola and the sisters then shared childhood adventures, and what Claudia remembers in particular is
the startling onset of Pecola s puberty when she unexpectedly first had her menstruation.
The second narrator then talked about the memories of Pecola s family. They described the house
where the Breedlove s lived (before Cholly burned it down), they were poor and they believed they
were ugly. They also pointed out the horrible relationship between Pecola s parents. Pecola also has a
fourteen year old brother, Sammy, who kept

CCSF Case Study
This case has major implications in relation to higher education in California. The ACCJC was
instilling sanctions on colleges and causing their accreditation to be in jeopardy unless they resolved
them. If you lose your accreditation, state law prohibits them from receiving taxpayer funds (SF

nearly 2,500 faculty and staff on 11 campuses throughout the city. The college contributes about $300
million to the local economy every year, according to a recent study by San Francisco s Budget and

rates (graduation, degrees etc.). I would not use these statistical findings as a punitive measure but as
an informative way to build upon, evaluate and improve. Continuing the standard of excellence or

There are a great number of speculators turned traders. They purchase courses and attend seminars,
and they all maintain fantasies of becoming the next George Soros or the next oracle of Omaha,
Warren Buffett. While these dreams are important to have, they also become an impediment to traders
forming their own opinion and view of the markets. It also lays the foundation for reckless behavior
and inability to grind it out.
Although trading can be exciting and rewarding on a day to day basis, the truth is that it is not a sprint.
There are few times in a trader s history that he will make all of his profits on one trade. It takes
consistent effort over long periods of time, a marathon approach that will help traders even come close
to possibly replicating the great feats of Soros and Buffett.
With this fact in mind, it is no wonder that 95% of traders fail. Whether they fail on an individual
trade or blow their account out in six months, it all stems from a rush to action, a false sense of
urgency that if they miss this opportunity, it will be a long

Why Gender Inequality Stalled By Stephanie Coontz
Stephanie Coontz, author of Why Gender Inequality Stalled, emphasizes on how women are still
challenged in today s society about inequality of women wanting to have a career and raising a family
instead of staying at home to care for her family. Women making the choice to have a baby and have a
career is often frowned upon. According to Coontz, when they become mothers, they face more
scrutiny and prejudice on the job than fathers do (7). In a two family household, mothers often have to
take off work to care for their children in case of emergencies than fathers do. In single household
families, mothers are full time parents and have a full time job. This makes it harder for the women to
get equality in the workplace. Do you think that

Analysis Of His Mother s Death In The Stranger By Albert...
His mother s death
In The Stranger by Albert Camus. Meursault does not feel any great sadness over his mother s death,
yet everyone in the novel seems to try to justify his actions. Why doesn t Meursault feel any type of
sadness or remorse for this mother s death? He seems to not have any kind of feelings or nothing for
his mother s when she was alive if he did, he would not have been more remorseful for her death.
Meursault acts as though he was not close to his mother s and like he didn t want to attend her funeral.
His friends also seem to back him up by defending him in saying reasons why he shows no feelings or
sadness for his mother s death, they say that s his way of showing how he feels everyone shows how
they feel in different ways .
When Meursault mother died, he started off by saying Maman died today. Or yesterday maybe, I don t
know. I got a telegram from the home: Mother deceased. Funeral tomorrow. Faithfully yours.
(Actively learn the stranger) That doesn t mean anything. Maybe it was yesterday. . When a normal
person s mother dies, they are certain about her death, they want to know the day their mother passed
and how she died, but Meursault was not concerned about her death or how she died. That is very
unusual for someone to act in that type of event.
When Meursault was asked by the caretaker if he wanted coffee, he said: yes I would like a cup of
coffee . After he was drinking the coffee, he said he felt like a smoke, but he didn t know if he wanted

Theme Of Patriarchy In The Epic Of Gilgamesh
For centuries, books, television shows, even beloved childhood movies have subtly reinforced the
social construct of patriarchy. Classic movies such as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty follow the
typical story line of a damsel in distress, followed by a heroic man coming to her rescue. This
conception of a male focused storyline is nothing new and is an aspect that constitutes patriarchy,
which has existed since the advent of agriculture and has persisted throughout the centuries. In fact,
patriarchy was a major theme that was reinforced in the first story ever recovered; The Epic of
Gilgamesh was written as early as 2000 BC in Mesopotamia and is loosely based on the Sumerian
king, Gilgamesh. The story tells of Gilgamesh s adventures with his friend Enkidu as they conquer
everything from other men to the Bull of Heaven. Throughout the story, patriarchy is heavily
reinforced. Although the driving force behind patriarchy is personal attainment of security and status,
a number of objectively undesirable events result such as the subjugation of women and societies that
value control and dominance. The narrator reinforces different aspects of patriarchy in The Epic of
Gilgamesh by portraying men in a good light and women in a bad one, focusing society around males,
withholding agency from female females, normalizing violence, and creating the need for unequal
relationships between men and women.
The narrator of this epic consistently reinforced the stereotypical gender roles and

Ethan s lawyer hired a psychologist who testified that he was a victim of affluenza, the product of
wealthy, privileged parents who never set limits for the boy so cannot be held responsible for his
action because of that. Although, the Judge ruled for the plaintiffs, Ethan was sent to 10 year probation

Confidence In Sir Gawain And The Green Knight
Confidence wins confidence. Individuals who demonstrate self confidence easily impress others and
earn their respect and cooperation, even their discipleship. In the romance Sir Gawain and the Green
Knight by the Pearl Poet, Sir Gawain confidently coasts on the merits of his reputation until he is tried
and discovers that he is unprepared for failure when he succumbs to temptation.
One cause of Gawain s confidence is his reputation as a great fighter. Among Arthur s knights Gawain
is reputed to be the best; in fact, he is recognized by his brother knights as the greatest among them.
Since the greatest warrior is he others strive to measure themselves against, Gawain has likely jousted
against those of the Round Table as well as newcomers to the court; therefore, when the Green Knight
comes to challenge a member of Arthur s court, Gawain is the likely target. Yet, his history of ease in
victory has only contributed to Gawain s complacency. If he is to fight the Green Knight, he could
trust in his skill, but the unexpected trial is that Gawain is not to fight the evil giant; he is to deliver a

What Caused Death and Injury During (and After) Ancient...
What caused injury and death during (and after) ancient battles? Soldiering has never been an easy
job. In any period of history the risks are rarely any different, death and injury stalk every battlefield
the world over. Egyptian and Greek warfare became sophisticated theatres of mortality and injury in
their day, the means by which the enemy could be dispatched were numerous and effective. Rivalling
this however, was nature; infection and disease were as big a risk to the soldier as any blade. Injury is
also present in the mind of the warrior, the stress of battle, the grief, the inner turmoil caused by
murder and the horrors one could witness remained long in the memory of every veteran and for some

causing the casualties of Egyptian warfare, the physical evidence unsupportive due to flesh decay and
wood s biodegradability. In all, the pitched battle was quite clearly a dangerous place but if we are to
take the Deir el Bahri tomb as an example there appears to be only 60 or so dead out of a force of
perhaps hundreds, a reasonably low percentage, it would be reasonable to assume that death and injury
trailed the surviving soldier home. Many of the injuries sustained during a battle would not be
immediately lethal, Egyptian soldiers could carry war wounds to their death. Short term post battle
deaths would occur from damage like: internal bleeding, blood loss, infection and injuries which
would prevent the soldier from functions like eating and drinking. Many more would survive battles
with injuries that whilst were not lethal in the short term would leave the sufferer with severe pain

History And Advancement Of Anabolic Steroids
History of Steroids
So as to follow the history and advancement of anabolic steroids from their starting to their present
day structure, we initially need to think back towards old times, when it was realized that the testicles
were required for both the improvement and upkeep of male sexual qualities. In advancement, this
idea was further created, by a researcher named Berthold and his examinations on cockerels done in
1849. He expelled the testes from these winged creatures, and they lost a few of the attributes basic to
the male of their species, including sexual capacity. In this way, we knew as right on time as 1849 that
the testicles worked to elevate what we consider to be essential male sexual properties; at the end of
the day, they are what make men into men . Berthold additionally found that if the testicles were
uprooted and after that transplanted to the stomach area, the sexual capacity of the winged animals
was to a great extent unaffected. At the point when the fowls were analyzed, it was found that no
apprehensive associations were shaped, yet a limitlessly broad arrangement of capillarization
occurred. (1) This gave solid confirmation that the testes follow up on the blood (2) and he further
inferred this blood then systemically affected the whole living being. Anabolic Steroid history, along
these lines, can be really said to have made its initial step with this straightforward arrangement of
tests.

The Patriot Act By Robert F. Kennedy
Following the days after the September 11th terrorist attacks, forty five days to be exact, congress
passed the Patriot Act. The Patriot Act stands for the Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing
Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism. The Patriot Act was enacted in
response to the attacks of the September 11th with the intentions of terminating international terrorist
operating within American. Thought the Patriot Act stands for protecting America and its citizens it
also has many provisions that violate the US constitution. Firstly the Patriot Act encroaches on our
First Amendment rights, which allow the citizens of America to speak and express ourselves freely.
Secondly it violates the fourth Amendment rights, which protects American citizens against unwanted
searches and seizures. The Patriot Act not only violates the Constitution, but represents the loss of our
individual liberties as American citizens. The Patriot Act violates our freedom of speech and
expression stated in the first Amendment and the protection from searches and seizures given to us by

Foreign Aid Failure
In an article published by The Spectator entitled Why foreign aid fails and how to really help Africa,
Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson condemn the current system of foreign aid granting and
suggest an alternate, more efficient solution. They support their points by deducing that extractive
institutions, in which incentives for economic prosperity are few, are the culprit of enduring poverty;
by providing examples where foreign aid failed to reduce poverty (Congo, Angola, Syria, and South
Africa); by giving testimonies from former British Prime Minister David Cameron and multilateral
institutions concerning the effectiveness of foreign aid; and by advising an alternative solution to
combating poverty, involving diplomatic relations

Utilitarian ( Evans, Kubasek, Audi)
Utilitarian is the school of thought based several theorist based on the end justify the means. Meaning
the moral thought is not viewed based on making the decision for outcomes. Utilitarian s base its
ethics on measuring the greatest good of options and choices that create a net happiness for society.
Ethics was seen based on the history of choices ad rules established in a political or social arena that
produced good or alleviated social pain. Once such is example is our human thought of bribing. In
most cases this would be viewed as unethical. But utilitarian s believe that if the bride would produce

He believe that the two could be addressed in the act utilitarian and the rule utilitarian. The act
utilitarian believe that the ethics is based on adding up the costs and the benefits of a choice that leads
to the net happiness of large groups. On the other hand the Rule utilitarian s states that the rule or
decision of one should not change the outcomes of many due the general rule. The utilitarian resolve
that ethics is the outcome of the act and not on rather it is right or wrong. The school of thought is that
every person matters and groups or decisions makers should make decision based on increasing
happiness; reducing unhappiness and not just on what is defined on what is individually ethically
wrong. It should support the net benefit to the greatest number of people.
Duty and Right (Audi)
The Duty and Right school of thought is discussed thru E. Audi in Determining Ethical Obligation. He
concluded that people should act within in their rights and with accord with others. Meaning behavior
or actions should not impede on the rights of others as one acts out his/her ability to express his
personal rights. And when one acts contrary to this he/she is violating the rights of others. The
literature goes on to express the rights of individuals and companies as a right to perform certain
actions that are morale and expressed in actions that are duty related. It further breaks individual on

The Physical State Of Reverend Dimmesdale
The physical state of Reverend Dimmesdale mirrors the deterioration of Dimmesdale s mental and
moral state because of the guilt related to a lack of public confession. Because of Dimmesdale s
connection with the Puritan Church and his unconfessed sin, his mental health deteriorates to the point
of delusion. In order to lessen the guilt caused by his sin, Dimmesdale often practices nightlong fasts
and vigils. Those fasts and vigils fail to lessen his guilt because they constitute a private confession.
Because of the lack of public confession Dimmesdale starts to believe that he lives a lie; Dimmesdale
symbolizes a moral compass for the Puritan community but is an unpunished adulterer. Dimmesdale
and the Puritans believe that to the untrue man, the whole universe is false (Hawthorne 133).
Hawthorne means that untrue men, such as Dimmesdale, create a fake reality in which those untrue
men live in. Since Dimmesdale is an untrue man, his perception of what is real and what is false starts
to slip, and he begins having visions of his bastard daughter pointing her finger at the clergyman s
own breast and because Dimmesdale creates a false reality, his visions and hallucinations combine
with actual reality (Hawthorne 132). The guilt from Dimmesdale s false life grows to the point that his
[delusions] were, in one sense, the truest and most substantial things which the poor minister now
dealt with (Hawthorne 133). When there is no peril of discovery , an attempt to publically

out as an precise meaning of the phrase. The very first overall look of globalisation is topic to different
conversations as there are multitudinous techniques and thoughts. Sklair (2002, p. 29) declares in her
guide Globalisation: Capitalism its Solutions that globalisation is to be seen as a latest understanding
in public sciences even the press protected this topic already for a while. On the opposite Mountain
(2009, pp. 13 14) associates the overall look of globalisation to the record of company and company
and the technical improvements in different times. Schirato and Webb (2003, pp. 1 9) tried first to
comprehend the phrase of globalisation and the power behind labeling a pattern, what made it
available for everyone. Also Albrow (2000, p. 21) indicates the complexness of interpreting a certain
take off for globalisation, but locations it as a sequence of modernization. 4. Drivers of Globalisation
As the complexness had been described clearly in the last passage and different views and techniques
were resolved, the further concentrate is to be set on the motorists of globalisation to be able to

Double Mastectomy
Researchers have found that the Angelina Jolie effect has real world consequences. A new study from
Austria suggests that celebrities health problems may help increase awareness when they make
headlines.
Oscar winning film star, Angelina Jolie, announced her breast removal surgery to prevent cancer in
May 2013. The actress double mastectomy and reconstruction has raised awareness of cancer
treatment, researchers said.
The Angelina Jolie effect
Women reported that they had a better understanding of breast removal and reconstruction options
after Jolie s experiences were conveyed to the public. Researchers said that the current study is the

Jolie s announcement did indeed affect the public opinion going beyond gene positivity [and] actually
improving the awareness that breast reconstruction can be achieved with the use of one s own tissue
and that it can be done during the breast removal operation, said Dr. David Benjamin Lumenta, of
Medical University of Graz.

For the study, the researchers used data collected from 1,000 women recruited online before and after
Jolie s announcement. Following Jolie s statement, researchers noticed an increase in the percentage
of women who were aware that breast reconstruction is possible and that it could be done using a
woman s own tissue. A larger jump from about 41 percent to about 60 percent was noticed in
consideration to the number of women who knew that breast removal and reconstruction could be
done during the same surgery.
Breast cancer and Angelina Jolie
In light of the results of the study, researchers have begun to beg the question: Can stars encourage
people living with different conditions to talk about it and bring it out of the shadows? One in five of
the women taking the poll indicated that the media s coverage of Jolie s announcement made them
deal more intensively with the topic of breast

My Identity Research Paper
Gautama Buddha once said that Our thoughts are most important. All that we are is the result of our
thoughts. For most, many don t realize how powerful our thoughts are. I believe that our thoughts do
create our reality and the things in it. Being in control of one s own destiny is everyone s wish, but
everyday people let their circumstances define them and forget that they have the power to change
their world. Even I sometimes get carried away and forget that I am truly in control of my reality. I
know that because of our thoughts we create our destiny which is a reflection of our identity. One has
to truly understand who they are to make conscious choices that can positively affect their life.

Questioning constantly about one s destiny can make someone forget their true purpose. As for
myself, I couldn t expect my life to change overnight. It was going to be a long process. As time

Feminist Perspective On Cinderella
A Feminist s Take on Cinderella Like most children, your childhood, too, was probably full of
fairytales and fables. As children, we longed to be like the princes and princesses in these stories, but
what if they are not what they seem, especially the story of Cinderella? Cinderella, a girl working
almost as a servant for her stepmother is presented with an opportunity to turn her life around when
she meets her fairy godmother, who insists on helping her go to the ball, but only if she makes it back
by midnight. With the help of a pumpkin carriage, Cinderella makes it to the ball and even dances
with the prince, but as midnight approaches, Cinderella scrambles to get home and forgets her glass
slipper, which the prince later uses to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Characters such as the stepmother, the stepsisters, and even Cinderella herself are all negative female
role models. All three have negative qualities that can be negative influences for children. For
instance, Cinderella s stepmother is anything but a motherly figure. This is proven when Cinderella
predicts what her stepmother is going to say: You? My dear girl, you re staying at home to wash the
dishes, scrub the floors and turn down the beds for your stepsisters. They will come home tired and
very sleepy. She makes Cinderella do all the housework and treats her like her personal servant. The
stepmother is also well known for brainwashing her daughters into thinking that they need to marry
the prince. On top of that, Cinderella has to deal with competition from her sisters. Instead of
supporting her, they make a competition out of marrying the prince, which gives an overall negative
image of sisterhood. Meanwhile, Cinderella just can t seem to speak up for herself. She agrees to
everything she is told to do by her stepmother and not once in the story took a stand for herself and
proved that she was an independent woman. Furthermore, beauty is a recurring theme in Cinderella.
Not only does her stepmother think so, but Cinderella too thinks that wearing nice and expensive
clothes makes a better person. She believed that she could not stand out at the

Tartuffe- Moliere
ENG 262 N Religious Hypocrisy in Moliere s Tartuffe Jean Baptiste Poquelin Moliere was one of the
greatest writers of the seventeenth century, being considered by many the greatest author of French
comedy. In his plays, called comedies of manners , Moliere satirizes the morals and social conventions
of his contemporaneous human society by using stock characters. In Tartuffe, a comedy of five acts,
the main topic is the analysis of religious hypocrisy and leader figures of the seventeenth century,
portraying Tartuffe in contrast with personages like Orgon. The main character is Tartuffe, the
hypocrite that tries to climb the social ladder by using Orgon s ignorance and blindness. Tartuffe

and my wife could die,/ And I d not feel a single moment s pain (Moliere 32). Moliere s personages

Developing A World Class Inclusive Education System Essay
The Special Education 2000 programme was introduced by the New Zealand Ministry of Education
1996. By introducing such a programme the government intended to develop a world class inclusive
education system. The model and aim at that stage was to reform the education system where children
with disabilities could be integrated into the mainstream education system. This would enable children
with disabilities to attend their local community schools where having the same opportunities as their
siblings and friends from their community. In 1996 Lipsky Gartner described inclusive education as
students with disabilities having full membership in age appropriate classes in their neighbourhood
schools, with appropriate supplementary aids and support services . In more recent years it has
become evident that inclusive education should include the participation of all students in schooling.
The system had to be restructured so that the culture, policies and practices in schools can cater to the
diverse needs of all children within the community that the school is located in. Inclusive schools are
based on the belief that all children can learn. They should also respect that children are different and
all differences need to acknowledged and catered to. Policies, systems and the structures within
schools should be enhanced to meet the needs of all children.
There has been a concerted effort made by the Ministry of Education and the New Zealand
government to reform inclusive

It is always nice to take a long drive to see somewhere you haven t seen before and be able to see new places along the way. Over the short duration of our trip I ve a acquired some funny stories that work by themselves but I m happy that I get to tell them all. So our little detour did matter. It was a strange feeling once we got all settled into the hotel room because after such a long drive we felt like were on the road the entire day and the fact that it was already dark supported that feeling so when we got settled into our room we felt like going to sleep but we realized that it was only about three o clock. So of course we couldn t go to sleep then otherwise our sleep schedules would be completely thrown off so we would just wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to go back to sleep. So after spending a couple of hours in the room doing whatever we could to kill the time I remember that I have a Buffalo Wild Wings gift card in my glove department that I ve had for about a year. She was a child back then, around nine years old, but she still remembered how the marigolds didn t bloom that fall, and she and her sister thought it was probably because of their friend, Pecola, was having her father s baby. She then tells us that Pecola s father, Cholly Breedlove and the baby are dead. Then there s the first season, a flashback, in Autumn in 1940, a year before the fall when no marigolds were blooming. Claudia and her older sister, Frieda, have just started school. That autumn the Macteers accepted Mr. Henry (Henry Washington) as a roomer because his rent would help pay the bills and also because his former roommate was too addled to keep up. Then the family soon after got another roomer, Pecola Breedlove, an eleven year old, dark skinned girl whom county officials placed her there after her father burned the family s house down. Pecola and the sisters then shared childhood adventures, and what Claudia remembers in particular is the startling onset of Pecola s puberty when she unexpectedly first had her menstruation. The second narrator then talked about the memories of Pecola s family. They described the house where the Breedlove s lived (before Cholly burned it down), they were poor and they believed they were ugly. They also pointed out the horrible relationship between Pecola s parents. Pecola also has a fourteen year old brother, Sammy, who kept ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

They purchase courses and attend seminars, and they all maintain fantasies of becoming the next George Soros or the next oracle of Omaha, Warren Buffett. While these dreams are important to have, they also become an impediment to traders forming their own opinion and view of the markets. It also lays the foundation for reckless behavior and inability to grind it out. Although trading can be exciting and rewarding on a day to day basis, the truth is that it is not a sprint. There are few times in a trader s history that he will make all of his profits on one trade. It takes consistent effort over long periods of time, a marathon approach that will help traders even come close to possibly replicating the great feats of Soros and Buffett. With this fact in mind, it is no wonder that 95% of traders fail. Whether they fail on an individual trade or blow their account out in six months, it all stems from a rush to action, a false sense of urgency that if they miss this opportunity, it will be a long ... • 14. Theme Of Patriarchy In The Epic Of Gilgamesh For centuries, books, television shows, even beloved childhood movies have subtly reinforced the social construct of patriarchy. Classic movies such as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty follow the typical story line of a damsel in distress, followed by a heroic man coming to her rescue. This conception of a male focused storyline is nothing new and is an aspect that constitutes patriarchy, which has existed since the advent of agriculture and has persisted throughout the centuries. In fact, patriarchy was a major theme that was reinforced in the first story ever recovered; The Epic of Gilgamesh was written as early as 2000 BC in Mesopotamia and is loosely based on the Sumerian king, Gilgamesh. The story tells of Gilgamesh s adventures with his friend Enkidu as they conquer everything from other men to the Bull of Heaven. Throughout the story, patriarchy is heavily reinforced. Although the driving force behind patriarchy is personal attainment of security and status, a number of objectively undesirable events result such as the subjugation of women and societies that value control and dominance. The narrator reinforces different aspects of patriarchy in The Epic of Gilgamesh by portraying men in a good light and women in a bad one, focusing society around males, withholding agency from female females, normalizing violence, and creating the need for unequal relationships between men and women. The narrator of this epic consistently reinforced the stereotypical gender roles and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 20. History And Advancement Of Anabolic Steroids History of Steroids So as to follow the history and advancement of anabolic steroids from their starting to their present day structure, we initially need to think back towards old times, when it was realized that the testicles were required for both the improvement and upkeep of male sexual qualities. In advancement, this idea was further created, by a researcher named Berthold and his examinations on cockerels done in 1849. He expelled the testes from these winged creatures, and they lost a few of the attributes basic to the male of their species, including sexual capacity. In this way, we knew as right on time as 1849 that the testicles worked to elevate what we consider to be essential male sexual properties; at the end of the day, they are what make men into men . Berthold additionally found that if the testicles were uprooted and after that transplanted to the stomach area, the sexual capacity of the winged animals was to a great extent unaffected. At the point when the fowls were analyzed, it was found that no apprehensive associations were shaped, yet a limitlessly broad arrangement of capillarization occurred. (1) This gave solid confirmation that the testes follow up on the blood (2) and he further inferred this blood then systemically affected the whole living being. Anabolic Steroid history, along these lines, can be really said to have made its initial step with this straightforward arrangement of tests. Later, in 1929 a method to deliver a concentrate ... • 26. The Physical State Of Reverend Dimmesdale The physical state of Reverend Dimmesdale mirrors the deterioration of Dimmesdale s mental and moral state because of the guilt related to a lack of public confession. Because of Dimmesdale s connection with the Puritan Church and his unconfessed sin, his mental health deteriorates to the point of delusion. In order to lessen the guilt caused by his sin, Dimmesdale often practices nightlong fasts and vigils. Those fasts and vigils fail to lessen his guilt because they constitute a private confession. Because of the lack of public confession Dimmesdale starts to believe that he lives a lie; Dimmesdale symbolizes a moral compass for the Puritan community but is an unpunished adulterer. Dimmesdale and the Puritans believe that to the untrue man, the whole universe is false (Hawthorne 133). Hawthorne means that untrue men, such as Dimmesdale, create a fake reality in which those untrue men live in. Since Dimmesdale is an untrue man, his perception of what is real and what is false starts to slip, and he begins having visions of his bastard daughter pointing her finger at the clergyman s own breast and because Dimmesdale creates a false reality, his visions and hallucinations combine with actual reality (Hawthorne 132). The guilt from Dimmesdale s false life grows to the point that his [delusions] were, in one sense, the truest and most substantial things which the poor minister now dealt with (Hawthorne 133). All three have negative qualities that can be negative influences for children. For instance, Cinderella s stepmother is anything but a motherly figure. This is proven when Cinderella predicts what her stepmother is going to say: You? My dear girl, you re staying at home to wash the dishes, scrub the floors and turn down the beds for your stepsisters. They will come home tired and very sleepy. She makes Cinderella do all the housework and treats her like her personal servant. The stepmother is also well known for brainwashing her daughters into thinking that they need to marry the prince. On top of that, Cinderella has to deal with competition from her sisters. Instead of supporting her, they make a competition out of marrying the prince, which gives an overall negative image of sisterhood. Meanwhile, Cinderella just can t seem to speak up for herself. By introducing such a programme the government intended to develop a world class inclusive education system. The model and aim at that stage was to reform the education system where children with disabilities could be integrated into the mainstream education system. This would enable children with disabilities to attend their local community schools where having the same opportunities as their siblings and friends from their community. In 1996 Lipsky Gartner described inclusive education as students with disabilities having full membership in age appropriate classes in their neighbourhood schools, with appropriate supplementary aids and support services . In more recent years it has become evident that inclusive education should include the participation of all students in schooling. The system had to be restructured so that the culture, policies and practices in schools can cater to the diverse needs of all children within the community that the school is located in. Inclusive schools are based on the belief that all children can learn. They should also respect that children are different and all differences need to acknowledged and catered to. Policies, systems and the structures within schools should be enhanced to meet the needs of all children.
