This document summarizes an automotive collision avoidance system that uses an eye blink sensor and notification system in solar powered smart electric vehicles. It detects driver drowsiness using an eye blink sensor and controls the vehicle if the driver is in a sleepy state to prevent accidents. A vibration sensor detects accidents and notifies emergency services using GPS and GSM modules. The system aims to make rescue efforts faster by quickly notifying authorities of accidents. It explains the working of eye blink, vibration, ultrasonic sensors and an Arduino Nano microcontroller. The system is proposed to be implemented in electric vehicles as it would be easier than in fuel-powered vehicles.
