Odoo 17. Automatic batch transfer automates the movement
of product batches between locations or warehouses based
on predefined rules, improving inventory management
efficiency.

What is automatic batch transfer?
● Automatic batch transfer is a feature that allows you to
automatically group transfers together based on certain
criteria.
● These criteria can include:
○ Contact
○ Carrier
○ Destination country
○ Source location
● Once transfers are grouped together, they are assigned
to a batch. Batches can then be processed by a worker.

How to enable automatic batch transfer
To enable automatic batch transfer, go to the Inventory → Configuration
→ Settings.

Enable the Batch Transfers option under the Operations tab. The batch
transfer will help you to process transfers in batch per worker

6. Enterprise
Next go to the Inventory → Configuration → Operation Types. Select the
operation type that you want to enable automatic batch transfer for.

Check the "Automatic Batches" box. Then you could set the criteria for
grouping transfers together by contact, carrier, destination country and
destination location.

Set the lines, transfers, and weight limits per batch in the respective
fields. If no limit is needed, leave the value at zero. Enable auto-confirm
for automatic batch creation confirmation.

Now go and create multiple sale orders for the same customer as we
have enabled the group by contact option. See the Delivery Orders
created.

The created delivery order will be automatically set to a batch.

The created Batch Transfer will be in in-progress state. You can click on
the validate button and complete the transfer.
