Abstract
Concepts NREC has completed its design and development of an integrated high speed axial turbine and permanent magnet generator. The Turbine –Generator Unit (TGU) is ideal for ORC applications for its compactness, reliability, and versatility. The 20,000 rpm TGU does not use a shaft seal or gearbox and the generator is evaporatively cooled using the ORC working fluid. The TGU is designed with the intent of having the same turbine housing and generator used with a range of operating ORC fluid operating pressures and temperatures to enable its wide spread use in a variety of ORC heat recovery applications. The rotor and nozzle stators are changed to aerodynamically optimize the performance of the turbine at different ORC fluid operating conditions and flow rates. The output voltage of the generator can range from 300 to 480 VAC and at 50 hz and 60 hz. This facilitates its use in waste heat recovery applications throughout the world. This technical paper will review the mechanical and electrical design features of the turbine-generator unit.

Lesson 1: Communication Relies on Care
Right from the moment the pandemic originated in Wuhan, China, there was a lack of communication from the appropriate authorities.
Early knowledge of the coronavirus among governmental heads, health authorities, pharmaceutical companies, and hospitals could have mitigated the intensity of the outbreaks. Instead, the initial phase of the pandemic was relatively unchecked due to Chinese secrecy, and the load exerted on the healthcare system was severely damaging.
What can managers learn from this?
Chain lubrication
Lubricant is the first thing that comes to mind when you start using industrial machinery as needed for unsurpassed performance in critical high-temperature applications.

We all know that industrial chains suffer more from bad lubrication rather than workload. Regular maintenance and lubrication are preconditions for low wear and long service life of the chain drive. The maintenance and lubrication frequency, as well as the related re-lubrication, are determined by the operating conditions of the application.
Sufficient and effective lubrication increases the length of life of the chains several times over. The selection of the correct lubricant and the appropriate method of lubrication guarantee reduction of wear, protection from corrosion and optional damping characteristics.

The automotive industry is the key driver of any growing economy. The automobile industry comprises automobile and auto component sectors. The component production range includes engine parts 31%, drive transmission and steering parts 19%, suspension and braking parts 12%, electrical parts 10%, equipments 12%, body and chessis 9% and others 7%. Indigenous firms like Bharat Forge, Sundaram Fasteners, Minda Industries and Gabrial India Ltd. are in the limelight in auto component sector.
This project report is mainly focussed on manufacture of “automobile piston”, one of the most demanding engine parts
MARKET POTENTIAL
The Indian automobile industry is growing at a very high rate with sales of more than one million passenger vehicles per annum. The overall growth rate is 10-15 % for automobile industry and 28 % for automobile component sector annually. Today’s competitive market has put all major automobile companies upfront to design and develop varieties of vehicles as per customer demands. The replacement market is also likely to expand. This indicates scintillating prospects for much faster growth and development of new auto component industry.
The Auto Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) has pegged domestic demand for auto components at $ 20-25 billion in 2015 from current demand of approximately $ 10 billion.
BASIS AND PRESUMPTIONS
1. The production capacity of the unit has been worked out on the basis of single shift of 8 hours a day for 300 working days a year ( i.e, 25 days a month ). 2. The unit is expected to work at 70% efficiency of installed capacity with yield rate of 95%. 3. Wages for labour, etc. have been considered as per the prevailing market rates in accordance with the Minimum Wages Act. The proprietor is considered as the Manager. 4. The unit is assumed to run in a rented/leased building. 5. The cost of machinery and equipments have been taken as per the rates quoted by manufacturers/suppliers. 6. The cost of raw material and other inputs are based on current prices prevailing in local market. 7. Interest rate for fixed and working capital investment have been calculated on an average rate of 16%.

Abstract
Concepts NREC has completed its design and development of an integrated high speed axial turbine and permanent magnet generator. The Turbine –Generator Unit (TGU) is ideal for ORC applications for its compactness, reliability, and versatility. The 20,000 rpm TGU does not use a shaft seal or gearbox and the generator is evaporatively cooled using the ORC working fluid. The TGU is designed with the intent of having the same turbine housing and generator used with a range of operating ORC fluid operating pressures and temperatures to enable its wide spread use in a variety of ORC heat recovery applications. The rotor and nozzle stators are changed to aerodynamically optimize the performance of the turbine at different ORC fluid operating conditions and flow rates. The output voltage of the generator can range from 300 to 480 VAC and at 50 hz and 60 hz. This facilitates its use in waste heat recovery applications throughout the world. This technical paper will review the mechanical and electrical design features of the turbine-generator unit.
Casting manufacturing process improvement
1) The project aimed to improve the direct pass ratio of castings produced by SUPPLIER for CUSTOMER from 0% to acceptable standards over 2 years.
2) Initial analyses found major casting defects and non-conformances due to issues like casting defects, poor mechanical properties, dimensions, and quality control processes.
3) Actions taken included establishing quality systems, control plans, process FMEAs, improving raw material combinations, training, and establishing testing standards.
4) Results showed significant improvement over 8 quarters from 17.65% to 93.36% direct pass ratio, with over 15,000 metric tons of acceptable castings produced after the project.

Instead, the initial phase of the pandemic was relatively unchecked due to Chinese secrecy, and the load exerted on the healthcare system was severely damaging.
What can managers learn from this?
Chain lubrication
Lubricant is the first thing that comes to mind when you start using industrial machinery as needed for unsurpassed performance in critical high-temperature applications.

We all know that industrial chains suffer more from bad lubrication rather than workload. Regular maintenance and lubrication are preconditions for low wear and long service life of the chain drive. Sufficient and effective lubrication increases the length of life of the chains several times over. The selection of the correct lubricant and the appropriate method of lubrication guarantee reduction of wear, protection from corrosion and optional damping characteristics.

The aquaponic system of planting is a method that does not require soil usage. It is a method that only needs water, fish, lava rocks (a substitute for soil), and plants. Aquaponic systems are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Its use not only helps to plant in small spaces but also helps reduce artificial chemical use and minimizes excess water use, as aquaponics consumes 90% less water than soil-based gardening. The study applied a descriptive and experimental design to assess and compare conventional and reconstructed aquaponic methods for reproducing tomatoes. The researchers created an observation checklist to determine the significant factors of the study. The study aims to determine the significant difference between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquaponics systems propagating tomatoes in terms of height, weight, girth, and number of fruits. The reconstructed aquaponics system’s higher growth yield results in a much more nourished crop than the traditional aquaponics system. It is superior in its number of fruits, height, weight, and girth measurement. Moreover, the reconstructed aquaponics system is proven to eliminate all the hindrances present in the traditional aquaponics system, which are overcrowding of fish, algae growth, pest problems, contaminated water, and dead fish.
Embedded machine learning-based road conditions and driving behavior monitoring
Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.

precisely delineate tumor boundaries from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
scans holds profound implications for diagnosis. This study presents an ensemble convolutional neural network (CNN) with transfer learning, integrating
the state-of-the-art Deeplabv3+ architecture with the ResNet18 backbone. The
model is rigorously trained and evaluated, exhibiting remarkable performance
metrics, including an impressive global accuracy of 99.286%, a high-class accuracy of 82.191%, a mean intersection over union (IoU) of 79.900%, a weighted
IoU of 98.620%, and a Boundary F1 (BF) score of 83.303%. Notably, a detailed comparative analysis with existing methods showcases the superiority of
our proposed model. These findings underscore the model’s competence in precise brain tumor localization, underscoring its potential to revolutionize medical
