 Our Daily Routine
 Additional, (and important) Resources for
your benefit
 A short practice test to gauge your readiness
1. Warm-Up Problems: 4-5. They may be review problems,
current topics, or problems we have not yet covered.
a) About the warm-up problems....
2. Review of previous material
3. Introduction of new concepts/topics
4. Practice new concepts together
5. Class work: Alone or with partner -- class time is to be
used for class work. We only have 60 minutes total
5a. Whatever class work is not done is to be completed
away from class.
The Learning Process
1. Introduce topic: I do, you watch and ask when needed
2. Step-by-step PracticeWe do together, I ask you, you ask me
3. You work alone or with others (teach each other), I observe
4. You do on your own
Our Learning Process
1. I do, you listen, take notes ( vocabulary, formulas, class
notes), and ask when you have questions. Notebook -- 10%
2. We will work some problems together. Notebook -- 10%
3. You and your partner will teach each other -- Class work 20%
4. You do on your own -- Khan Academy 20%, Tests --40%,
Final Exam -- 10%
Additional Resources:
Because we only meet for an hour a day, some, or even
most of your work will be done away from class.
If you are confused about a particular topic (which
everyone will be at some point), here are some resource to
help you.
