Showing both sides of an issue was preferred over taking one clear position. 3) Documentaries were seen as effective at increasing understanding of topics and influencing opinions, so the proposed documentary should aim to inform viewers about Meninism in a balanced way.

is of good quality and would appeal to the target audience, as well as it needing
good advertisement, to make sure that people know when it is on and exactly
what it is about, to encourage people to watch it. This can be done through the
radio broadcast and the double page spread.

documentary. Although our documentary is not purely being created to change
someone’s opinion, but more so on increasing knowledge, we still want the

should give enough information to enable this.

Voice over is the most popular and so we will use this. We were planning on using
a voice over from the beginning as that way we can show as much background
footage as possible and the audience can stay focused on the information/
interviews rather than being led by a presenter.
