                              Here we can see that Q’s age
                              range is mostly between 15-
                              24 but is not completely
                              dominated by the younger
                              generation.

    magazine. Q magazine

    with.

                                            many twitter followers they have.

for the iPad which keeps them going as
many people now use internet and
technology such as iPads rather than
going out and buying magazines.
What i have learnt about Q magazine is that
although it mainly covers the indie genre it also
covers little bits of other genres such as RnB artists
to pop artists. This helps to become more appealing
to a wider audience rather than just people
interested in the indie genre and will also appeal to
the younger generation who are also there most
popular buyers.

                  on the front cover which covers a
                  different genre.
Another magazine that is similar to Q
magazine is NME. This covers mostly
genre compared to q. However we can
see that their most popular age range is
again the younger generation from
teens to young adults. It is also read by
more males like q but is not dominated.
NME is probably one of the most
popular magazines in the industry and
are still going strong. This is because
they are not just in the magazine
industry they also use radio and hold
live events and award shows. This helps
them appeal to a wider audience.
So far I have come up with two ideas for the title
of my magazine. With the encore title the letter E
can become the brand identity and can start to be
recognised on its own. However Indigo tells the
audience the genre of the magazine . I am still
unsure on which font to use.
