The students will first complete an existing webquest on Tuesday. On Wednesday, they will create their own webquest about poems discussed previously and complete a peer's webquest. The teacher will reserve the computer lab and ensure students have access to the internet and the webquest platform. They will demonstrate how to use the site and complete a webquest. The teacher will monitor students as they work, asking questions to check understanding and having students work together to solve problems before directly answering questions.
1.
A- Same students as before.
S-They will first find a webquest and complete it (Tuesday).
They will then make their own WebQuest regarding the poems
discussed yesterday and they will complete a peer’s
WebQuest (Wednesday), with 100% accuracy by the end of
two full class periods.
S- Reserve the computer lab, making sure they can get on the
internet.
U- I will make sure the internet is working as well as
zunal.com, if I cannot reserve the computer lab I will need to
make sure each student has a laptop or tablet. I will begin by
showing them how to use zunal.com and how to complete a
webquest.
R- The students will be participating because they will be
working on their webquest and complete it. I will walk around
room the entire class asking questions and making sure they
are not doing anything they are not supposed to be doing.
E-Throughout the activity I will have them talk to each other
and help. Then I will give them a chance to ask me questions
and instead of just giving them the answer I will have them try
and proceed from their answers. If some of any of the kids are
having trouble I will put them in pairs/small groups.
