- Adele's black and white digipak prominently displays her on the front and back to promote her solo artist image for her sad, meaningful music.
- 50 Cent's digipak intimidatingly shows him behind shattered glass and on a street at night to represent his hard background and hip hop genre.
I decided to look at more CD covers to help me get a better idea of my own cover as well as what would appeal to the audience and what would work with the song I have in mind.
This is a research document on all the different kind of digipaks. I did this to give me a rough idea on what to do for my digipak when I was in the planning stage of making one. These different albums helped me out especially as they are under the same genre as the one I am producing so it was good for me to go off digipaks that are in the same genre.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

2. Mumford And Sons: Babel
A digipak is a the
packaging surrounding the
CD or DVD of a song or
film. In this case its for a
CD, the most common sizes
are a square or rectangle
shape that just covers the
CD itself to make it small
and portable, There are
many different styles to
the digipak and they
depend on the genre of the
artist and what the album
represents. The
information on the digipak
are the artists name ands
the name of the album
along with the order of the
songs.
Mumford and sons are a well know country band
and there digipak represents that with the old
town in the background and the old fashioned
suitcases. The band features at the front of the
digipak showing their importance and there
formality as a band, due to them wearing shirts
and blazer.
3. Adele: 21
Adele's digipak has her
featured on the front and back
which is a popular thing for a
solo artist and a pop singer as
they want to promote their
image. The digipak overall is
rather dull and is black and
white connoting the feel of the
music she will be singing to be
sad and meaningful. The
conventions for this genre are
that the artist will be the main
feature highlighted on the
front and back of the digipak
unlike a band like Mumford and
sons that only feature at the
front and have scenery photos
for the middle and back.
Furthermore there isn’t too much
information on the digipak like the Mumford
and sons one only the name of artist name
and album with the list of songs.
4. 50 Cent: Get Rich Or Die Trying
Just like other solo artists
50 cent is featured on the
front and back of his
digipak but instead he's
trying to promote his
image in a different way to
the other two, he's trying
to be intimidating with the
class being shattered as he
stands behind and the
street at night next to him
on the back of the digipak.
Furthermore this digipak represents not only the
artist as he has come from a hard background and
there is a lot of meaning and story behind his songs
but it represents the genre of music.
