1. The document discusses the plight of workers in the informal sector in India, who make up 93% of the workforce. They lack job security, medical benefits, pensions and other protections.
2. It proposes several recommendations to help informal workers, such as providing opportunities for contract workers to gain permanent employment, ensuring fair wages and basic protections for day laborers, and organizing rickshaw pullers and street vendors.
3. The key needs for all informal workers are job security, medical care, retirement benefits, and a path to formal employment to improve living standards and motivate better performance. Increased awareness of labor rights is also important.
Indian labor Market :Consists of 430 million workers in 2004-05, growing 2% annually, with a stable worker-population ratio of 40%.
Lower level of womenโs participation in workforce (28%) โ perhaps an underestimate.
Low level of open unemployment (3.1%) โ high level of disguised unemployment (or under-employment), mostly in rural areas and in agriculture.
Child labourโs share in workforce declining โ yet quite large in absolute numbers, at 13 million in 2001.

CII is very enthused by the Governmentโs plan in taking up Labour Law Reforms as one of the key focus areas as part of its growth agenda. We believe that the speed with which the new Government has initiated reform process in the labour law space will have a rippling effect on the twin objective of employability and job creation.
CII is a strong votary of key labour law reforms. CII believes that only a flexible, competitive and efficient labour law can catalyze investment, growth and employment. It is important that apart from reforms in key sectors a healthy business climate is created. The new government has already initiated these steps very aggressively and we can safely say that these processes will generate its impact very soon.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
ย
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

1. Experience-a initial
motivational drive-
grown up seeing
parents struggling in
informal sector job,
the plight of workers
around us facing the
exploitation and
much more.
Knowledge- the
second motivational
factor for this- the
one to one
interaction with the
workers being the
slavers under this
sector.
Change- the
contribution we
want to give in order
to bring wave of
change in society.
Why this topic has been selected ?
2. As per the Economic Survey 2007-08, 93% of Indiaโs workforce include the
self employed and employed in unorganized sector. The Ministry of Labour,
Government of India, has categorized the unorganized labour force under
four groups:
In terms of Occupation: Small
and marginal farmers, landless
agricultural labourers,, building
and construction workers, leather
workers, weavers, artisans, salt
workers, workers in brick kilns
and stone quarries, workers in
saw mills, oil mills etc. come
under this category.
In terms of Service
categories: Midwives,
Domestic workers,
Fishermen and women,
Barbers, Vegetable and
fruit vendors, News paper
vendors etc. belong to this
category
In terms of Specially
distressed categories: Toddy
tappers, Scavengers, Carriers
of head loads, Drivers of
animal driven vehicles,
Loaders and unloaders come
under this category.
In terms of Nature of
Employment Attached
agricultural labourers,
bonded labourers, migrant
workers, contract and casual
labourers come under this.
3. THEY DONโT HAVE THE
SECURITY IIN JOB , MEDICAL
FACILITIES NEITHER DURING
AND AFTER EMPLOYMENT,
THEY ARE NOT GIVEN THE
BENEFITS LIKE THAT OF
DA,PENSION DUE TO WHICH
THEIR PRESENT AS WELL AS
FUTURE IS DOUBTFUL.
EXPLOITATION
AND LACK OF
ACCOUNTABILITY
workplace is scattered
and fragmented
excessive
seasonality of
employment,
UNAWARENESS OF
THEIR RIGHTS AND
REGULATIONS
MEANT FOR THEM
4. The latest report of the NSSO
uploaded casual workers in India
between 2004-05 and 2009-10
compared to that of the period
between 1999 โ 2000 and 2004-05
very clearly shows that there is
significant increase in the number of
casual workers and decline in the
number of regular workers.
As per the latest estimation of a Sub-
committee of the National
Commission for Enterprises in the
Unorganized Sector (NCEUS), the
contribution of unorganized sector to
GDP is about 50% (NCEUS 2008)
NSSO Employment Data for 55th and
61st Rounds (for 1999-2000 and
2004-05 respectively) the NCEUS
(2007) explains that the country is
currently in a state of
โinformalisation of the formal sectorโ,
where the entire increase in the
employment in the organized sector
over this period has been informal in
nature

โข 6. THEY ARE VERY DEPPRESSED OF THEIR LIFE BECAUSE OF NO INCENTIVE,REGULARITY
OF INCOME INSPITE OF HAVING EXPERIENCE OF SO MANY YEARS.SO THEY WANT THE
SECURITY AND ASSURANCE OF INCOME TO FEEL MOTIVATED TO LIVE THE LIFE HAPPILY.
6. 1.THE EMPLOYEES WORKING IN OFFICES IN CONTRACT BASIS-
