I might be different than some people in this class, I ve had already had some
experience with AA meetings and NA meetings albeit as a young child. I had a
parent who would attend them from time to time and my sister and I would attend.
While this was many years ago, the setting was still the same to me as it was then.
Going to these kinds of meetings is something that is quite simple. You find out
where and you just show up when it is convenient to you. There s no signing in, you
don t have to pay anything, or make appointments. There are no meddling questions,
no commitments. Your confidentiality and privacy will be appreciated. You won t be
met with a mandate to come back to any meeting. You can go to multiple or as little
as you wish. Many have no idea what to expect in their first meeting. For some the
idea can be quite intimidating, so you will be relieved to find that your fears will be

This demonstrates that although Johnny is considered a timid and innocent
person, he proves that how he acts in the gang is different from how he acts in the

Nausea is a common issue for patients who present in the prehospital environment.
Currently in New Zealand paramedics are only able to Ondansetron, which is the
only antiemetic that medical directors of both of New Zealand ambulance services
have approved. Questions remain about the suitability of Ondansetron in the
prehospital field due to the range of causes of nausea and vomiting. Antiemetic use
international is varied however most tend to have at least two or more antiemetics,
with Ondansetron being the common antiemetic used. For this paper the author aims
to look at the different types of antiemetics available and see what type or types of
antiemetic s are the best suited for the prehospital environment ?, and make a
recommendation about what antiemetics should be introduced into paramedic
practise in New Zealand.

The Inconvenience of Hastings Entertainment Throughout our entire lives we are
taught structure. Structure that repeats itself. Each night we set our alarms to the
same time previous. We awake robotically, work, interact with the same faces, and
then return to our homes to trace the process. So where do we rely on our
imagination to come from? The vast majority of us cut it out of our cycle and
replace it with a television. Some of us, however, still pick up a book. To fantasize
about things that don t actually exist, to escape from reality for just a speck of
time. I am of few in this internet driven society that still read. Which for me
involves going to a bookstore to look for a good book. Nowadays there are few
bookstore opportunities. Due to Amazon and Kindle making it easier to press a few
buttons than to drive somewhere to find it. The only two bookstore chains I know of
in the Spokane area are Barns Noble and Hastings Entertainment. I usually go to
Hastings on 29th street, because it s only about ten blocks from my house. However I
have begun to realize that Hastings Entertainment is an inconvenient bookstore for its
customers because there is an unreliable computer system, not enough employees to
help assist a customer and the store is always re arranged. There is an outdated
computer system for books to be located throughout the store. The computer system

I landed in the beautiful city of London on June 30th. As I left the plane, I
immediately took note of the immense amount of diversity in London s Gatwick
Airport. Seven days prior to my arrival, the British people voted, in a historical

person working a 12 hour shift typically works 3 days a week and can receive full

Abstract
Enzymes are high molecular weight molecules and are proteins in nature. Enzymes
work as catalysts in biochemical reactions in living organisms. Enzyme Catecholase
is found on in plants, animals as well as fungi and is responsible for the darkening of
different fruits. In most cases enzymatic activities are influenced by a number of
factors, among them is temperature, PH, enzyme concentration as well as substrate
concentration (Silverthorn, 2004). In this experiment enzyme catecholase was used
to investigate the effects of PH and enzyme concentration on it rate of reaction. A
pH buffer was used to control the PH, potato juice was used as the substrate and
water was used as a solvent.
The experiments involved PH buffers of different pH were added to potato juice,
water, and the enzyme catecholase. The mixture was then subjected to
spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 420nm taking the absorbance readings. In the
second experiment, a phosphate buffer of PH 7.0 was used in different measures
together with different measurement of potato juice and the enzyme catecholase then
subjected to the spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 420nm. The data collected
inform of table and analyzed using descriptive statistics such as line graph and later
interpreted, showing that PH and enzyme concentration do affect the rate of enzyme

of determining which dogs are the best of the best. Today the most recognizable and
known organization for dogs is the American Kennel club, or AKC.
The AKC was founded by a group of men on September 17, 1884 after twelve of
them received a summons in the mail by Messrs. J. M. Taylor and Elliot Smith. The
men that Taylor and Smith gathered each had held a significant place in different
dog clubs. These men were highly skilled in their individual styles of dog shows and
it was on this expertise that the American Kennel Club was born. Being composed of
men from all different types of kennel clubs and shows, this was the first kennel
club to cover a whole variety of breeds instead of one specific class. At their second

These rates do not just do this on their own. They are caused by a factor called
universal default. (Jaffe) The universal default, written in all of the small print that
comes with every newly issued credit card, states that if one is more than 30 days
late on a credit card payment, the rate of interest on these debts will increase

revenue and profit are the creations of accountants. What they are depends on how
you define them. With real life objects (e.g. a chair), definitions may vary, however
they are all based on the existence of the same underlying object. With a concept like
profit there is no object until it s fully defined. Once I fully considered this the idea
of true profit seemed strange. Profit was created as an accounting concept and
accountants decide what it is. Profit doesn t exist in reality outside accounting there
