Family values have always been major conversation matter in the United States and it is often
huge key points when it comes to decision making by politicians and business. Many people
asked the question of how a single person perceives those values. The answer to that is people
often judge family values through two sides of the spectrum, one side being how normal other
people behaves towards each other, and the second side being how they believe others families
behave. Nowadays, people in our society are heavily influence about familyvalues based on what
others tell them, and most importantly, based on what they view on television. Some television
shows such as Friends or The Cosby Show has become such huge hits in the country because
people are curious about how people function as a whole or within their own families. However,
the images of family that were portrayed by those TV shows often too perfect compare to the
reality. It was not until 1987 when Fox Network decided to bring a dysfunctional family known as
The Simpsons, the television has successfully mirrored every type of family in America. Each
member of the Simpsons had different qualities and struggles, they are unique in their own way
and almost every real life families could relate to them. According a recent TV Guide Poll that
was given to the public, most of the people chose The Simpsons as the television family they most

than two centuries. As so often, it came about through a combination of killing and more indirect
effects. Humans introduced dogs, pigs, rats, and religious refugees. The first three ate dodo eggs,
