This study examined the role of organizational factors in workplace bullying. It used a multi-level approach to analyze data from 303 employees in 32 organizations under 89 managers in Greece. The results showed that individual characteristics like external locus of control increased the likelihood of exclusionary and overwork bullying. Good leadership and more humane, communicative cultures decreased bullying. Organizations with more assertive, male-oriented cultures saw higher overwork bullying, especially for those with external locus. To reduce bullying, organizations should develop good leadership and more communicative, inclusive cultures.
