Currently I am the Administrative Officer for Staffing for the Miami District. The District consists of 1-
District Manager (FV-2186-L), 4-Technical Operation Managers (FV-2186-K); 18-Front Line Managers (FV-
2101-J); 1-Operations Support Manager (FV-0340-J) and 253 Employees.
I perform the following actions in direct support of the 24 managers in the district which consist of:
Preparing and Initiating Personnel and Administrative actions (SF-50) which consist of Recruitment
Actions, Transfer Actions, Permanent or Temporary Promotion Actions, Retirements, Increases, and
Awards among other actions.
I work closely with the OSM and DM to analyze our staffing and prepare for future losses due to
attrition or movements of employees/positions. I provide guidance to the DM, TOM’s and FLM’s on
Policies and procedures to ensure that the Human Resource Personnel Management (HRPM) and
Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) are being followed and policies and agreements are not being
breached.
Part of my responsibilities is to present and brief out on new staffing policies and or procedures that
are being implemented by the Service Area or Headquarters during bi-weekly telcons and during District
Management meetings.
2. I also service as the liaison for the managers and employees in working with the Service Center
(Atlanta, GA) and or Regional Office (Washington, DC).
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: travel management (E2), review
authorizations/vouchers for the Miami District. CASTLE time & attendance - Ensure that the Miami
District has not discrepancies in their CASTLE submission, assist employees with pay issues (Contact
DOI). Benefits – Work with employees in getting proper documentation submitted for health insurance,
life insurance, beneficiaries, retirements, etc.
Accomplishments: I was asked to provide training to the newly hired Administrative Officers for the
Memphis and Philadelphia Districts. Prior to their arrival, from November and December 2014, I
provided AO assistance to the Memphis District (Staff approximately 219 employees) in conjunction to
my district. During May and June 2015, I provided AO assistance to the Philadelphia District (Staff
approximately 223 employees) and then provided training to the new AO.

eLMS and GovTrip. Provided general administrative guidance to the staff and kept managers informed
of any issues. I served as the liaison between offices, internal and external to ATO, including Service
