This document analyzes a student project titled "A Cookbook". The project teaches students key knowledge like likes/dislikes and the present simple tense. Students will create an original recipe, developing critical thinking and problem solving skills. The project uses both individual and collaborative methodologies. It poses a meaningful challenge by having students create a recipe, something useful for their future. Students must ask questions to complete assignments, explaining their learning process in diaries. The project is authentic by connecting to students' real-world cooking skills. It allows student voice and choice by having them research recipes online freely. Students reflect on assignments in diaries and receive feedback through them. Finally, the published cookbook shares student work worldwide.
