OBJECTIVE OF HSE PLAN
 The objective of HSE Plan is to provide a
workable model to help the site management
team in striving to achieve the ultimate goal
of AMANA- Zero lost time incident.
 We, the AMANA team of “Project J 175 of
DDD – Office buildings” shall achieve the set
health and safety goals: Zero fatalities, Zero
Lost Time Injuries (LTI).
 We shall achieve our goals by building and
maintaining a safety culture in the day- to -
day work activities of all the employees by
integrating the safety requirements in all the
Company procedures in compliance with all
the legal requirements of Dubai.

 All new employees should attend Safety Induction training.
 They must carry the ID (Emirates ID / Health card / Valid VISA proof).
 Horseplay, Fighting, Gambling, Running is prohibited
 No photography unless authorized
 Possession Or Use Of Alcohol, Or Unauthorized Drugs, Are Totally Prohibited.
Possession, use and sale of alcohol and drugs as well as entry to the Site under
the influence of alcohol or drugs is forbidden (worker who is caught will be
permanently removed from the site);
 No material should be taken from the project’s work areas without written
permission from the project manager or his designated authority.

Personal Behavior and Conduct
 Not permitted on site : Radios, Cassette players, CD player, Music
Systems,
 No site visiting during nights, Week-ends or holidays without prior
permission;
 Compliance with site rules and safety regulations is mandatory;
 Tampering with safety equipment is forbidden;
 Abusive or aggressive behavior is not permitted;
 Causing damage on purpose or misuse of facilities on the job site is
forbidden;
 Eating and resting outside designated areas is strictly prohibited;
 Operating machineries without authorization;
 Compliance with security procedures is mandatory.

NO SMOKING POLICY
 Smoking is prohibited in all areas, such as
offices, toilets, corridors, stairs, floors, site
yard, Hoist, stores and company vehicles
(unless used privately) and other places
where smoking is specifically prohibited.
 THE ENTIRE CONSTRUCTION AREA IS
DESIGNATED AS ‘NO SMOKING ZONE’.
 SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED EXCEPT IN
THE *DESIGNATED AREA.
CARELESS SMOKING IS ONE OF THE MAJOR CAUSE OF FIRE

SPEED LIMIT must be fixed as per the site requirements.

 Employers must provide adequate preventive
measures for protection of their employees from
risk of injury or occupational disease, fire risks
or other kind of risks, which may result from the
use of machinery and other equipment, handling
of chemicals/ toxic substances or performing
any other work (Working at height etc) at the

A Doha court has jailed a construction site supervisor for two
years after a crane collapsed, killing four men and injured
three others, Qatar daily Gulf Times reported on Sunday.
The supervisor, from Syria, and his employer were also fined 20,000
Qatari riyals ($5,499) each for the accident which killed three Filipino
men and one Indian man.
The accident occurred on March 19, 2007, when a crane being
operated for the first time tilted and fell upon the workers at a
construction site near the West Bay, Doha.
The supervisor, his employer and insurance firm were jointly ordered to
pay 150,000 Qatari riyals as ‘bloodmoney’ to families of three of the
victims, the newspaper said.

 Stay calm, do not panic.

nearest first aider.
 Don’t touch the injured person if you suspect that
he has been electrocuted.
 If any material is lying on the injured person, assist
others in removing it.

essential to do so; you may be hurting him by
unnecessary movements
 Move him only if there is further risk of injury to the
casualty at the scene of accident.
 Don’t give any drinks or food to the injured unless
directed by competent persons..
