During past few years, brain tumor segmentation in CT has become an emergent research area in the field of medical imaging system. Brain tumor detection helps in finding the exact size and location of tumor. An efficient algorithm is proposed in this project for tumor detection based on segmentation and morphological operators. Firstly quality of scanned image is enhanced and then morphological operators are applied to detect the tumor in the scanned image. The problem with biopsy is that the patient has to be hospitalized and also the results (around 15%) give false negative. Scan images are read by radiologist but it's a subjective analysis which requires more experience. In the proposed work we segment the renal region and then classify the tumors as benign or malignant by using ANFIS, which is a non-invasive automated process. This approach reduces the waiting time of the patient.
Autonomous Camera Movement for Robotic-Assisted Surgery: A SurveyIJAEMSJORNAL
In the past decade, Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) has become a widely accepted technique as an alternative to traditional open surgery procedures. The best robotic assistant system should combine both human and robot capabilities under the human control. As a matter of fact robot should collaborate with surgeons in a natural and autonomous way, thus requiring less of the surgeons’ attention. In this survey, we provide a comprehensive and structured review of the robotic-assisted surgery and autonomous camera movement for RAS operation. We also discuss several topics, including but not limited to task and gesture recognition, that are closely related to robotic-assisted surgery automation and illustrate several successful applications in various real-world application domains. We hope that this paper will provide a more thorough understanding of the recent advances in camera automation in RSA and offer some future research directions.

Tele-Robotic Assisted Dental Implant Surgery with Virtual Force FeedbackNooria Sukmaningtyas
The dental implant surgical applications full of risk because of the complex anatomical
architecture of craio-maxillofacial area. Therefore, the surgeons move towards computer-aided planning
for surgeries and then implementation using robotic assisted tele-operated techniques. This study divided
into four main parts. The first part is developed by computer-aided surgical planning by image modalities.
The second part is based on Virtual Surgical Environment through virtual force feedback haptic device.
The third part is implemented the experimental surgery by integrating the prototype surgical manipulator
with the haptic device poses using inverse kinematics method. The fourth part based on monitoring the
robotic manipulator pose by using image guided navigation system to calculate the position error of the
surgical manipulator. Thus, this tele-robotic system is able to comprehend the sense of complete practice,
improve skills and gain experience of the surgeon during the surgery. Finally, the experimental outcomes
show in satisfactory boundaries.
PEDESTRIAN DETECTION IN LOW RESOLUTION VIDEOS USING A MULTI-FRAME HOG-BASED D...AM Publications
Detecting pedestrians in low resolution videos is a challenging task, due to the small size of pedestrians in the images and the limited information. In practical outdoor surveillance scenarios the pedestrian size is usually small. Existing state-of-the-art pedestrian detection methods that use histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) features have poor performance in this problem domain. To compensate for the lack of information in a single frame, we propose a novel detection method that recognizes pedestrians in a short sequence of frames. Namely, we take the single-frame HOG-based detector and extend it to multiple frames. Our detector is applied to regions containing potential moving objects. In the case of video taken from a moving camera on an aerial platform, video stabilization is first performed to register the frames. A classifier is then applied to features extracted from spatio-temporal volumes surrounding the potential moving objects. On challenging stationary and aerial video datasets, our detection accuracy outperforms several state-of-the-art algorithms.

Visual control system for grip of glasses oriented to assistance robotics IJECEIAES
Assistance robotics is presented as a means of improving the quality of life of people with disabilities, an application case is presented in assisted feeding. This paper presents the development of a system based on artificial intelligence techniques, for the grip of a glass, so that it does not slip during its manipulation by means of a robotic arm, as the liquid level varies. A faster R-CNN is used for the detection of the glass and the arm's gripper, and from the data obtained by the network, the mass of the beverage is estimated, and a delta of distance between the gripper and the liquid. These estimated values are used as inputs for a fuzzy system which has as output the torque that the motor that drives the gripper must exert. It was possible to obtain a 97.3% accuracy in the detection of the elements of interest in the environment with the faster R-CNN, and a 76% performance in the grips of the glass through the fuzzy algorithm.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

some methods it upgrades accuracy, adaptability, and control during the activity and
permits them to all the more likely observe the site, contrasted and customary
systems. Utilizing the robotic medical procedures, specialists can perform sensitive
and complex systems that may have been troublesome or inconceivable with different
techniques. Regularly, the automated medical procedure makes negligibly intrusive
medical procedure conceivable. The automated medical procedure includes chance,
some of which might be like those of customary open medical procedures, for
example, a little danger of disease and different intricacies. The 1990s have seen the
purported laparoscopic upset in which numerous activities were adjusted from the
conventional open medical procedure to the trivial access strategy. Shorter medical
clinic stays, decreased postoperative agony, lower occurrence of wound infections,
and better healing have made activities, for example, laparoscopic cholecystectomy,
the standard of care for cholelithiasis. Ideal outcomes incited specialists to endeavor
to grow insignificantly intrusive strategies for most surgeries. Nonetheless, numerous
overwhelming methods (e.g. pancreatectomy) validated hard to learn and to perform
laparoscopically because of specialized cutoff points inalienable in the laparoscopic
medical procedure. As the camcorder held by the colleague was temperamental and
gave a restricted 3-dimensional vision of the field, and the essential specialist had to
embrace clumsy situations to work with straight laparoscopic instruments, obliging
moving. Sooner or later, the development of the laparoscopic field broadened its
apparent level, and it appeared that lone another technologic jump could spike further
improvement.

Since the start of the 21st century, the rise of imaginative instruments made further
advances in negligible access medical procedure conceivable. Automated medical
procedure and telepresence medical procedure proficiently tended to the confinements
of laparoscopic and thoracoscopic methods, henceforth reforming negligible access
medical procedure. Suturing or the way toward closing up an open injury or cut is a
significant piece of the medical procedure however it can likewise be a tedious part of

with some type of mechanical vision outflank "daze robots", which are just fit for
unbending, repeatable errands without any varieties. Robots with vision can react to
factors in their condition and bring genuinely necessary adaptability to automated
applications, advancing efficiency and productivity. Picking the precise robot vision
framework for mechanical robots can be troublesome, be that as it may. There are
numerous vision arrangements in the commercial center and each application has
extraordinary vision needs. For producers needing a dream framework, there are a
couple of essential inspections that can assist thin with bringing down alternatives.
While choosing a robot vision framework for apply autonomy, 2D and 3D vision
frameworks are accessible. Applications with increasingly shortsighted vision needs,
for example, when a robot only needs to distinguish the area of a section when that
part is introduced in a pre-decided and profoundly repeatable way, may just require a
2D vision framework. Further developed applications will require 3D automated
vision frameworks [5].
At the point when a robot needs to decide the area of a section as well as the direction
of that part, or even how to best handle that section, a 3D vision framework is
required. For certain applications, for example, in medical surgical uses, 3D vision is
expected to recognize tissues. Picking somewhere in the range of 2D and 3D vision
can be direct and will quickly limit your accessible choices. Vision outlines for robots
come in a wide range of structures and every one of these structures will have various
degrees of reconciliation multifaceted nature. For instance, some vision frameworks
can be installed in the automated framework, where picture catch and picture handling
are done inside the camera. Diverse frameworks require an outer computer for picture
preparation, which may prompt progressively powerful vision abilities yet more slow
process durations. The blend is likewise an extra continuous expense for robot vision
frameworks. Foreseen reserve funds from acquainting mechanical vision have with
the option to legitimize the expense of beginning establishment, continuous support,
and extra supervise required for powerful vision frameworks.
Robot vision improves the general adaptability, efficiency, and benefit of automated
applications. While there are many robot vision frameworks exist, finding the correct
one for your application can prompt decreased working expenses over the lifetime of
the framework. As indicated by Oxford University, they have built up the remarkable
highlights of applying sovereignty to upgrade robot vision investigation by utilizing
extra high-goals sensors (for example profundity and point mists), controlling sensor
bearings and numbers, and in any event, toning the extraordinary marking exertion
with self-supervision [6]. So as to empower automated robot vision, they are giving
reflex information (RGB-D, IMU, etc.) in ordinary indoor states with commonly
utilized items, variation scenes, and ground-truth direction gained from assistant
estimations with high-goals sensors. Just as consuming a different scope of sensors,
situations, and undertaking types, the dataset grasps condition elements, which as far
as anyone is concerned makes it the primary genuine world dataset to be utilized in a
mechanical vision setting. The essential sensors incorporate an Intel RealSense Depth
Camera D435i and an Intel® RealSense™ Tracking Camera T265, both mounted at
fixed tallness [1]. Not every automated application requires a robot vision framework,
so far, a few activities advantage extraordinarily from a mechanical vision framework.
They are extra mechanization speculation; though, they can help convey incredible

about is goals. The exemplary goals of a camera depend on pixels, for example, 600
pixels x 400 pixels. The other kind of goal we should discuss is spatial goals. The
spatial goals are the way close the pixels are to one another; what the number of
pixels-per-inch (PPI) is on the sensor. By and by it is the spatial goals that truly
control how a picture will look. In some cases, the spatial goals are estimated in
micrometers. At the point when we utilize a focal point on the camera, these gripping
goals can change. Subsequent to deciding the goals prerequisites you should take a
gander at the Focal Length.
Selecting a central length is an exchange off between being what zoom level you
need. A bigger central length, (for example, 200) will be zoomed in, while a littler
central length, (for example, 10) will be zoomed out and you will see a bigger picture.
A central length of 30-50 is around what we see with our eyes. Littler than that will
look overwhelming (and is frequently called a wide-point focal point). An outrageous
case of a little central length can be a fish-eye focal point that can see around 180°
(with a genuinely mutilated picture). In the event that the central length is indicated as
a range, it is presumably a customizable long range focal point. The following thing to
take a gander at is the Maximum Aperture or f number. The f number is frequently
determined as f/2.8 or F2.8. The larger the number the less light that can enter into the
aperture. On the off chance that you have to take pictures in a low light condition, you
will need a little f number to abstain from requiring outside lighting of the scene. The
littler the f number the shallower the profundity of the field will be. The profundity of
the field is the piece of the picture that shows up in the center (and sharp). Seemingly
this ought to have been first yet you will likewise need to take a gander at the Field of
View or FOV. The FOV is the rakish estimation window that can be seen by the focal
point. The FOV is typically determined with two numbers, for example, 60° X 90°.
Right now is the flat FOV and 90° is the vertical FOV. At times as opposed to giving
2 numbers individuals will simply determine 1 number dependent on the corner to
corner. FOV can be identified with the central length of the focal point [8].
To compute the picture (or camera) goals required dependent on a particular focal
point FOV to recognize a specific size impediment, with a specific number of pixels
on the item (toward that path) there is a straightforward condition.
We can figure the FOV by knowing the size of the camera imaging cluster (for
example CCD) from the datasheet and the central length of the focal point.

A 36X24mm sensor size and a central length of 50mm, we can get the related camera FOV's:

and gigabit ethernet (GigE). GigE cameras are decent since they simply plug into an
ethernet port making wiring simple. A large number of them can utilize control over-
ethernet so the force goes over the ethernet link and you just have one link to run. The
burden of GigE is the idleness and non-deterministic nature of ethernet. Different
interfaces may be better if idleness is an issue. Likewise you by and large can just
send full video over GigE with a wired association, and not from a remote association.
The explanation behind this is you have to set the ethernet port to utilize large parcels,
which is difficult on a standard remote association. Likely the most widely recognized
explanation GigE cameras not working appropriately is that the ethernet port on the
PC isn't designed for kind sized parcels. For programming, you need to ensure that
your camera has a SDK that will be simple for you to utilize. On the off chance that
you are utilizing ROS or OpenCV, you will need to check that the drivers are suitable.
You will likewise need to check what design the picture is provided back to you from
the camera; will it be a crude picture group? Or on the other hand, will it be a text
organization, for example, png or jpg [8].
Fig. 3. Dynamic Range and Visible Spectrum
In the event that you are doing stereo system vision, you need to ensure the cameras
have an activating strategy, with the goal that when you issue a picture catch order
you get pictures from the two cameras at the same time. The activating can be in
programming or equipment, however, equipment is ordinarily better and quicker. On
the off chance that you are having issues with your sound system calculation, this can
be the wellspring of the issue, particularly in the event that you are moving quickly. In
the event that you need to keep away from twists at high speeds and are not very
worried about value, at that point worldwide shade is the ideal decision. With the
worldwide shade, the whole sensor surface gets presented to light on the double. It's
extraordinary for rapid applications, for example, traffic, and transportation, or
coordination. The moving shade peruses the picture line-by-line. The caught lines are
then recomposed into one picture. On the off chance that the item is moving quickly
or the lighting conditions are terrible, the picture gets twisted [6]. Be that as it may,
modifying the presentation time and actualizing streak, you can limit the mutilation.

4 Binford 360 Robotic Surgical Lens
From prostate medical procedure to gallbladder approach to heart medical procedures,
robots are as of now pillars in the working room. An automated medical procedure is
right now being performed utilizing the da Vinci™ careful framework, which is a
remarkable arrangement of robotic advances that incorporate a camera, an amplified
screen, a comfort and concerted 'arms' for holding the careful instruments. A robotic
medical procedure is comparative here and there to a computer game. To play a
computer game, the control button is moved left or right, up or down, and the machine
makes an interpretation of the developments into ongoing, impersonating the moves
exactly on the screen. During a mechanical helped method, the specialist utilizes an
ace control to control the instruments, and the instruments decipher the developments
of the specialist into exact developments inside the body. The specialist is in charge
the whole time as the careful framework reacts to the bearing gave. During a robotic
medical procedure, the specialist makes little entry points and embeds scaled-down
instruments and a top-notch three-dimensional camera. As a rule, skin entry points are
not required by any means. From close-by support, the specialist controls those tools
to play out the fundamental activity. Specialists who utilize the robot vision system
find that for some methodology it improves exactness, adaptability, and control
during the activity and permits them to all the more likely observe the site, contrasted
and customary strategies. Utilizing the robotic medical trials, specialists can perform
fragile and complex techniques that may have been troublesome or inconceivable
with different strategies.
Presently, the utilization of robotic medical procedures on eyes is being analyzed in
clinical preliminaries. In 2016, scientists from the University of Oxford's Nuffield
Department of Clinical Neurosciences propelled a clinical preliminary to test the
Preceyes Surgical System. This robot is intended to perform a medical procedure on
the retina, the surface at the rear of the eyeball. Similarly likewise with the da Vinci™
careful framework, the specialist utilizes a joystick to control the versatile arm of the
Preceyes framework. Specialists can connect various instruments to the arm, and in
light of the fact that the framework is automated, it doesn't respond to slight tremors
that can torment even the most consistent gave specialist. In spite of the fact that
specialists can perform a sensitive medical procedure on patients that have no vision,
their hands aren't sufficiently solid to pinpoint explicit spots on the retina for patients
that have some vision. As per the pilot, Prciseyes may likewise permit specialists to
straightforwardly unblock veins, or infuse medicines legitimately into patients' optic
nerves, two tasks that are right now inconceivable. Guaranteeing that the gear you are
planning conveys the exactness required is the place Universe Optics assumes a job.
Binford 360 Robotic Surgical Lens named after Prof. Thomas Binford was structured
principally for different sorts of minor to major robotic surgical applications. 360 here
suggest the focal point capacity to give a 360 degree perspective on the patients'
tissues. We worked one next to the other with Stanford Medical Center to guarantee
the Binford 360 Robotic Surgical Lens required is splendidly appropriate for robot-
helped careful applications. A definitive objective is to give the specialist unrivaled
control in a negligibly intrusive setting. One specialist at The Robotic Surgery Center
expressed his comments on Binford 360 Robotic Surgical Lens, "Maybe I've scaled

of higher goals with focal points. What's more, many applications that require focal
points with long central lengths are gradually going under the umbrella of robot vision
and should be tended to. Various elements are significant in the focal point plan and
these incorporate focal point goals, spatial contortion, and consistency of brightening
through the perspective.
(i) Modulation Transfer Function (MTF)
The perfect focal point would create an image with fine coordinates, including the
entirety of its subtleties and splendor varieties. Practically speaking this is never
totally conceivable as focal points go about as low pass channels. The image nature of
a focal point, mulling over all abnormalities, can be portrayed quantitatively by its
regulation exchange work. MTF is characterized by the capacity of a focal point to
same lines (networks) with various spacings (spatial recurrence in line matches/mm).
The more line sets/mm that can be recognized, the better the goals of the focal point.
The loss of differentiation because of the focal point is appeared in the MTF-chart for
each spatial recurrence. Enormous structures, for example, coarsely dispersed lines,
are for the most part moved with moderately great difference. Littler structures, for
example, finely separated lines, are moved with low differentiation. The measure of
constriction of some random recurrence or detail is ordered as far as MTF and this
gives a sign of the exchange productivity of the focal point. For any focal point there
is a point where the adjustment is zero. This breaking point is regularly called as far
as possible and is generally cited in line pairs per millimeter (l p/mm), or with some
full scale focal points as far as the base line size in µm which likewise likens to the
base pixel size for which the focal point is reasonable.
Fig. 5. MTF Performance Curve of Binford 360 Lens (Contrast vs. Frequency)
As illustrated in the above graph, the MTF decays of Binford 360 Lens is moving
from the middle pivot of the focal point towards the edges, which is a significant
thought if the ostensible goal is required over the whole image. MTF can likewise
fluctuate contingent upon the heading of the lines at a point on the focal point because
of astigmatism and is moreover a component of the gap setting at which it is valued,
so care must be taken when looking at focal point execution. Since a focal point must
be picked so the settling power fits with the pixel size of the image sensor, the littler
14. P.S.Jagadeesh Kumar et al.
when the image circle (or organization) of the focal point is unreasonably little for the
size of the sensor. All focal points are likewise impacted by 'Cos4 vignetting' which is
brought about by the way that the light needs to venture out a further separation to the
edge of the image and arrives at the sensor at a shallow edge. This is additionally
overstated on focal points with small scale focal points on every pixel as the edge
centers the light in to a nonsensitive piece of the sensor. This can be limited if the
focal point is halted somewhere near two f-stops. By improving brightening equality
over the whole sensor, focal point can take out the requirement for light force reward,
which could bring commotion into the image as illustrated in the below graph of
Binford 360 relative illumination curve.
Fig. 7. A Relative Illumination Curve of Binford 360 Lens that shows the Relative
Brightness vs. Field Height at Various f-spots
(iv) Depth of Field (DOF)
The Depth of Field (DOF) plot demonstrates how the MTF changes as subtleties of a
particular size (goals, given as a recurrence) draw nearer to, or more remote away
from, the focal point without pulling together. As it were, the means by which the
complexity changes above and underneath the predefined working separation. Below
graph displays the kind of DOF bend given by Binford 360 Lens focal point. The
profundity of field plot shows the distinctions in MTF dependent on consistent field
statures (the various shades of the individual bends) for a fixed spacial recurrence on
the picture side, with as far as possible forgot about. As the MTF is examined in
various situations along with the optical hub, defocus is brought into the framework.
By and large, as defocus is presented, the complexity will diminish. The flat line
toward the base of the bend speaks to the profundity of the field at a particular
differentiation level (right now). For the most part, acknowledged least difference for
a robot vision framework to keep up precise outcomes is 20%.
16. P.S.Jagadeesh Kumar et al.
line filter applications, the bigger arrangement F-mount framework can be utilized,
despite the fact that the T-mount is utilized gradually as another option. These vast
configuration focal points don't bolster the capacity of computer controlled iris and
core interest. One fascinating advance is the development of robot vision applications
utilizing focal points with long central lengths up to 600 mm. Produced for use mostly
by proficient images, these enormous arrangement focal points likewise incorporate
robotic iris and core interest. This requires the specific EF focal point mount, which
fuses these offices. An expanding number of robot vision cameras are presently being
produced with EF mount capacities and EF focal points with their novel optical
abilities being made accessible to the more advanced robot vision through ongoing
direct appropriation indulgences.
6 Conclusion
With so many robot vision lenses available, choosing the best one for the specific
application may not be a paltry exercise. It is imperative to think about the framework
in general. For instance, numerous cutting edge megapixel cameras utilize little sensor
sizes to lessen costs, however the subsequent little pixel sizes require higher caliber
and along these lines increasingly costly optics. For certain applications it might be
valuable to pick an increasingly costly camera with bigger pixels that requires less
requesting optics to decrease the general framework cost. Working with Binford 360
robotic surgical lens can thus moderate the possibilities in advanced medical surgical
applications.
