ผู้เรียนเกิดความตระหนักเห็นคุณค่า ภูมิใจในท้องถิ่นของตน ตลอดจนช่วยกันอนุรักษ์ให้คงอยู่
ตลอดไป มีค่านิยมที่ดีตามคุณลักษะที่พึงประสงค์
หนังสือเล่มนี้ยังมีความสอดคล้องกับนโยบายส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านของสานักงาน
คณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐานที่มุ่งให้ผู้เรียนใช้การอ่านเป็นวิถีแห่งการเรียนรู้ อันจะเป็น
การพัฒนาตนเองและรู้จักปรับตัวให้อยู่ในสังคมได้อย่างมีความสุขเพื่อเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียน
ได้อย่างมีคุณภาพ ซึ่งจะเป็นการสร้างสรรค์สังคมไทยให้เป็นสังคมแห่งการเรียนรู้
ผู้เขียนหวังว่าคงเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้เรียนและผู้สนใจ มีความสุข เพลิดเพลินในการอ่าน
และช่วยให้การพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านให้ดาเนินไปสู่จุดหมายตามที่ตั้งไว้

หนังสือส่งเสริมการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษชุด Visiting Mahasarakham เรื่อง At the
airport กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ (ภาษาอังกฤษ) ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 เล่ม
นี้จัดทาขึ้นเพื่อใช้ประกอบแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ สาหรับผู้เรียน โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ
ส่งเสริมทักษะการอ่าน การเขียน และทักษะการคิดจินตนาการตาม เนื้อเรื่องให้ถูกต้องตาม
หลักไวยากรณ์ และมีนิสัยรักการอ่าน
การใช้หนังสือส่งเสริมการอ่านมีขั้นตอนดังนี้
1. ให้นักเรียนอ่านหนังสือส่งเสริมการอ่าน เล่มที่ 1 ก่อนตามลาดับ
2. ให้นักเรียนศึกษาคาศัพท์คายาก จากประมวลคาท้ายเล่ม
3. ให้นักเรียนศึกษาเนื้อหาให้เข้าใจ
4. ครูและนักเรียนอภิปรายเนื้อหาจากเรื่องที่อ่าน
5. ให้นักเรียนอ่านคาชี้แจงของแต่ละกิจกรรมนั้น ๆ ให้เข้าใจแล้วลงมือปฏิบัติ

3. นักเรียนสามารถเล่าเรื่องที่อ่านได้
4. นักเรียนมีทักษะในการเขียน ตอบคาถาม และทาแบบฝึกหัดเกี่ยวกับเรื่องที่อ่าน
5. นักเรียนตระหนักและเห็นความสาคัญในคุณค่าของสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในท้องถิ่นตน

Steward : Good morning, can I help you?
Kevin : Yes, please. I would like to check in myself and my
family members.
Steward : Could you show me your passport, please?
Kevin : Here it is. We have a VISA already.
Steward : How many bags do you have?
Kevin : One for carry-on and one for cargo.

Steward : OK, it’s ok. You can carry the bag lighter than 4.5
