Indian railway network is one of the biggest transportation network in India and is the third largest railway network in the world. Mail/express trains are regular express rail service of India. Express trains make small number of stops, unlike passenger trains. The Duronto express trains introduced in 2009 (which run between major cities without any intermediate halts) are projected to be the fastest train in India introduced with a higher speed limit of 120-130 km/h. Bullet trains in India will become an engine of economic transformation in India

Overview of the fundamental roles in Hydropower generation and the components involved in wider Electrical Engineering.
This paper presents the design and construction of hydroelectric dams from the hydrologist’s survey of the valley before construction, all aspects and involved disciplines, fluid dynamics, structural engineering, generation and mains frequency regulation to the very transmission of power through the network in the United Kingdom.

Sachpazis:Terzaghi Bearing Capacity Estimation in simple terms with Calculati...Dr.Costas Sachpazis
Terzaghi's soil bearing capacity theory, developed by Karl Terzaghi, is a fundamental principle in geotechnical engineering used to determine the bearing capacity of shallow foundations. This theory provides a method to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of soil, which is the maximum load per unit area that the soil can support without undergoing shear failure. The Calculation HTML Code included.
Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.

5. SHINKANSEN
Bullet trains runs in JAPAN since
Highest speed of SHINKANSEN is
320km/hr.
Average time of getting late is
less than 1minute. Even at the
time of some small scale natural
disaster.
World’s first bullet train is started
form 1st october-1964 for TOKYO
to OSAKA and its speed is above
200km/hr.
Till now the number of people
travel in SHINKANSEN is more
than the world’s population.
6. Seven Minute Miracle
The seven minute miracle
story was first notice by an
famous editor Charlie Jems.
Trains reaches to their
destination, is well prepared
for its next journey only in
7 minutes.
Coupling process is used for
two trains whose roots are
same upto some distance.
Coupling process takes
hardly two minutes.
7. Control System Of SHINKANSEN
Separate tracks are spread
over for bullet trains .
There is no railway crossing
on these tracks and no one is
permitted to go there.
Bullet trains are run by an
automatic control system.
If the train operator makes
any kind of mistake then
control of train is
automatically transfer to the
control room.
8. Operators of SHINKANSEN
They are appointed after a long
training session.
Operators are first trained on
simulator and after every two
years same simulator training is
given to them for their
refreshment.
They can only drive it for
7hr10min and not more than
3hr20min in one continuous
lap as per policy of transport
ministry.
Screen in this cockpit shows
the declared speed, present
speed and present condition of
all bogies.
9. Faithful SHINKANSEN
In JAPAN, generally condition of
earthquake and thunderstorm is
continue.
A warning system is available
to sense the waves of
earthquake.
Approx 135 sensors are placed.
When these waves are detected
then the power supply of
SHINKANSEN is cut-off
automatically.
This power cut-off stop
SHINKANSEN in few seconds.
Even no any accident was
happened in 51 years.
10. UNDERGROUND METRO
Underground metro is started in
JAPAN in 1927.And first metro
line is only 2km long.
It is a speciality of JAPAN’s
railways that the bullet trains
and other railway system is
attached to each other at same
level.
At same railway station bullet
trains are start from ground
floor as well as metro trains are
start from underground level.
There is an ease to reach in sub-
urban areas from the main city.
11. Availability of METRO
On an average four crores
people use this rail
network daily.
Metro trains are available
for 21hours per day from
(5am to 2am).
In mega cities of JAPAN like
TOKYO at least one metro
station is available in every
2 square mile.
This also reduces the
pollution level.
12. If any of transport get delay ?
PUNCTUATION is the primary
policy of JAPAN.
If any of the train would
reached to its destination
after its declared time then it
is fault of rail company not of
passengers.
As per policy of rail company,
they give TARDY SLIP to the
people who was traveling in
those delay trains.
This slip release the people
from the responsibility of
getting delay for their
schools and offices.
13. Underground Network
The railway station is not
only a simple station but
there is also a huge mall is
present in underground.
This mall is further
connected to other malls,
restaurants and hotels.
14. Integration With Other Transports
JAPAN’S transport is not only
limited to trains but it is well
integrated with other small
transportation system like
bus and taxi.
For last mile connectivity
buses are used.
Buses are always available at
outside of railway station.
There is no such condition,
like railway station and bus
station are at different places
or in different direction.
15. Special passes and tickets
There is some special pass
and ticket is provided to
the passenger which is
acceptable in both, trains
and buses.
No need to buy different
tickets to travel in
different transports.
16. Ministry of transport
There are many private
companies are involved in
this transportation system.
But they all are connected
and regulated by a single
ministry.
Ministry of Land,
Infrastructure, Transport
and Tourism is responsible
for all norms and policies
of transportation.
