  An IT Programme/Project Manager with 27 years’ experience within a corporate environment, combined with a full array of in
  depth technical knowledge & skills. A versatile all-rounder with an on-going, solid record of accomplishments, emphasising a

  I have, over the last 10 years, specialised in Back office & client delivery at Enterprise level. This has been extensively utilised by
  the clients that I have worked with. I have been able to bring outside suppliers such as Dell & Microsoft around the same table to
  deliver complex solutions to the client desktop estate & succeed in delivering to tight deadlines while maintaining the required
  quality & financial plans. This has been achieved through the delivery of quality Vision’s, Business cases, planning, RAID & control
  brought together by excellent stakeholder &man management skills.
  During the last 10 months, I have been delivering the EE Digital Portal & eShop infrastructure for TSL in support of the EE first to
  the post delivery of 4G LTE. This has allowed me to gain & utilise skills in the transformation from a current live service into a fully
  integrated FMO service with no interruption to the current business operations, while maintaining all SLA’s. Since the successful
  completion of this Programme in October 2012, I have now been moved on within T-Systems to deliver the internal EE Customer
  Management Framework to allow for the delivery of all services required by CSR's to deliver support to EE customers through one
  single sign on Portal; this ensures the best customer experience when calling EE for assistance.I am a conscientious individual with
  a can do attitude to all aspects of delivering a total solution into live Service Delivery Teams.

  •      End to end delivery of Everything Everywhere 4G LTE Digital access, eShop, billing platform & DB warehousing

Professional Work Experience & Successes
2012 Contract TSL – Everything Everywhere Digital Programme Manager
Infrastructure Programme Manager May 2012 - Current
 Managing the delivery of the new EE eShop & supporting Digital infrastructure
•       Responsible for the full lifecycle of the sub Programme
•          Delivery of connectivity to live systems with no downtime allowance
•          Stakeholder management was critical & managed throughout
•          Cost management through matrix management along with clear requirement & scope adherence
•          Full application migration to new infrastructure. Followed by test & regression testing
•          Management of full load testing by client to ensure infrastructure capacity uplift as per requirement
•          Managing the budget, team & deliverables through standard Programme lifecycle.
As part of the delivery of this role, I am responsible for the delivery of all production services based in the new DC (FMO) as well as
the connectivity & security of the legacy estate (CMO). I have setup a standard Programme Organisation which has been signed
off by the Sponsors of the Programme. The delivery was the focus point of the business realisation of the 4G LTE implementation
being delivered concurrently with my Programme to allow EE to take advantage of the head start they had over other mobile
phone operators. As such, this was the key to the success of the whole business case. As such, we were working to extremely tight
schedules with anone negotiable drop dead date, which, through good man management, ensured the team worked closely to
complete the timely delivery &ensure the Business Case was not compromised.
2011 Contract HP – Internal ITO Datacentre Consolidation Programme Manager (Germany)
Infrastructure Programme Manager Dec 11 – Apr 12
 Managing Consolidation of two DC in Frankfurt to a single mew instance
•       Responsible for the management of specialist technical team
•         Migration strategy to include transformation of devices as well as lift and shift for continuity
•         Decommission profiling, data tracking & decommission execution
•         Cost reduction management to allow for cost savings to deliver Business Case
•         34 clients in the one DC to be managed through the migration
•         Initial analysis to confirm the detail of all devices to be consolidated, technical & contractual status
•         Managing the budget, team & deliverables through standard Programme lifecycle.
As part of the delivery of this role, I am responsible for the delivery of all production services based in the DC. I have setup a
standard Programme Organisation which has been signed off by the Sponsors of the Programme. Decommissioning was planned
on a client by client basis post the migrations, this was to allow for uninterrupted service to the client to be maintained. The
Programme was running in support of a scheduled building closure programme, we were working to extremely tight schedules
with Drop Dead Dates that were set in stone, which in turn ensured the team worked closely to ensure the delivery & Business
Case were not compromised.


2010 Contract HP – Internal ITO EMEA/APJ Consolidation Programme Manager
Infrastructure Programme Manager Mar 10 – Nov 2011
 Managing Consolidation of 340 Labs into ES Labs Virtual service
•           Responsible for the management of specialist technical team
•           Delivery of Physical to Virtual services to allow for cost savings to deliver Business Case
•           Delivery within EMEA into one UK based Lab & APJ into one Australian based Lab
•           10,000 devices scoped, 8,800 actually transformed, remainder migrated to centralised DC
•           340 Labs EMEA & 178 in APJ
•           Decommissioning analysis, profiling, phasing & execution for in excess of 19,000 devices
•           Initial analysis to confirm the detail of all devices to be consolidated, technical & contractual status
•           Managing the budget, team & deliverables through standard Programme lifecycle.
As part of the delivery of this role, I am responsible for the delivery of all none production ES Labs from their current physical form
to virtual labs both in the UK & Australia. By using MSP Methodology, I managed each of the tranches through start up, planning &
deployment, assisting & directing their respective Project Managers, then reporting to SRO through the Programme Board any
risks or issues along with any recommendations, I am also responsible for the finances & reporting. In total there are 4 tranches
within the Programme, these comprised of Analysis, assessment, build out & transformation. Each tranche being planned at a
detailed delivery schedule level, with baselined milestones, that were monitored & measured at the Programme level. Finally to
ensure timely exit of the required buildings to meet the Programme BC, decommissioning of devices in a data safe & coordinated
fashion was crucial to support business continuity. As this Programme was running in support of a scheduled building closure
programme, we were working to extremely tight schedules with Drop Dead Dates that were set in stone, which in turn ensured
the team work closely to ensure the delivery & Business Case were not compromised.


2003 – 2009 Contract EDS – Rolls Royce Account
Infrastructure Programme Manager Jan 09 – Aug 09
Managing Back Office Delivery of SCCM, SCOM, KMS & Bitlocker
          Responsible for the management of £13.4 million budget
          Delivery of Microsoft technologies to a none restricted estate
          Delivery within the UK utilising Dell’s CFI & DAD Processes for client deployment;
     o    5,000 laptops
     o    17,000 desktops – Vista client
     o    Process Management changes for support teams & training for users
          Alpha & Beta phase prototype delivery in a short timeline (POC)
          Budgeting for & managing risks & issues to minimise any impact on Programme delivery
            Managing the EDS(HP)/Dell/Microsoft/Rolls-Royce relationship
As part of the delivery of this role, I was responsible for the delivery of all the supporting infrastructure required to migrate the
client from a Windows server 2000 estate to Windows Server 2003 R2 operating system within AD to allow the support of Vista &
Windows 7. I was also responsible for the deployment of laptops & desktops including the applications that were to be migrated
from existing application versions to current version -1. The role covered the full lifecycle of the Programme. By using MSP
Methodology, I managed each of the tranches through start up, planning & deployment, assisting & directing their respective
Project Managers. I was responsible for supplier selection to assist in the delivery of the scoped solution and managed their
deliverables when assigned. I was also responsible for Programme Risks, meeting with the Programme Board on a bi-weekly basis
to review current status & recommendations. I was also responsible for the finances both planning & reporting. The key
requirement for this Programme to be successful was that laptop deliveries had to commence within 4 months of the Programme
initiation. This meant that identifying &migrating the applications that would allow for delivery of 80% of the laptops was crucial.
This was initiated by using offshore resource, which both kept the costs in check & allowed for multiple streams of work to be
completed in a short timescale. In total there were 5 tranches within the Programme that I managed, these comprised of
Prototyping, Laptop delivery, Application Migration, Business Transformation & Global Architecture. Each Project was planned at a
detailed delivery schedule level with tightly scheduled, baselined milestones that were delivered by the Project while being
monitored&measured for benefits realisation at the Programme level.


Infrastructure Programme Manager Mar – 07 – Dec 08
Infrastructure Modernisation, Delivery of AD, SMS, MoM & Exchange
•           Responsible for the management of £7.1 million budget
•           Delivery of Microsoft technologies to a restricted estate
•           Delivery within the UK on 6 geographically local teams.
•           Extensive requirement workshops to define scope
•           Delivery of 2000 Desktops & 150 Laptops – XP Client
•           Planning to meet all business requirements tight deadline requirements (time scale)
•           Managing the Microsoft/EDS/Rolls-Royce relationship
In this role, I was responsible for the replacement of all current Infrastructure & client’s, to be replaced with a GAP (Government
Approved Protocol) locked down environment that met the latest MOD guidelines, the delivery was to be completed while the
Enterprise continued with its business as usual. The Programme consisted of Infrastructure Architecture, Client Design, Application
Migration, Infrastructure Delivery, and Client Delivery along with Business Transformation to educate & train the user & support
teams. The role covered the full lifecycle of the Programme. By using MSP Methodology, I managed each of the tranches through
start up, planning & deployment, assisting & directing their respective Project Managers. I was responsible for supplier selection
to assist in the delivery of the scoped solution and managed their deliverables when assigned. I was also responsible for
Programme Risks, meeting with the Programme Board on a bi-weekly basis to review current status & recommendations. I was
also responsible for the finances both planning & reporting. I also had to report to the MOD Security Board, who owned the
Enterprise relationship with the MOD, on a bi weekly basis to ensure there were no deviancies that would affect the accreditation
of the infrastructure in the final MOD sign off.

I have, over the last 10 years, specialised in Back office & client delivery at Enterprise level. This has been extensively utilised by the clients that I have worked with. I have been able to bring outside suppliers such as Dell & Microsoft around the same table to deliver complex solutions to the client desktop estate & succeed in delivering to tight deadlines while maintaining the required quality & financial plans. This has been achieved through the delivery of quality Vision’s, Business cases, planning, RAID & control brought together by excellent stakeholder &man management skills. During the last 10 months, I have been delivering the EE Digital Portal & eShop infrastructure for TSL in support of the EE first to the post delivery of 4G LTE. This has allowed me to gain & utilise skills in the transformation from a current live service into a fully integrated FMO service with no interruption to the current business operations, while maintaining all SLA’s. Since the successful completion of this Programme in October 2012, I have now been moved on within T-Systems to deliver the internal EE Customer Management Framework to allow for the delivery of all services required by CSR's to deliver support to EE customers through one single sign on Portal; this ensures the best customer experience when calling EE for assistance.I am a conscientious individual with a can do attitude to all aspects of delivering a total solution into live Service Delivery Teams. Followed by test & regression testing • Management of full load testing by client to ensure infrastructure capacity uplift as per requirement • Managing the budget, team & deliverables through standard Programme lifecycle. As part of the delivery of this role, I am responsible for the delivery of all production services based in the new DC (FMO) as well as the connectivity & security of the legacy estate (CMO). I have setup a standard Programme Organisation which has been signed off by the Sponsors of the Programme. The delivery was the focus point of the business realisation of the 4G LTE implementation being delivered concurrently with my Programme to allow EE to take advantage of the head start they had over other mobile phone operators. As such, this was the key to the success of the whole business case. As such, we were working to extremely tight schedules with anone negotiable drop dead date, which, through good man management, ensured the team worked closely to complete the timely delivery &ensure the Business Case was not compromised.
  • 3. 2011 Contract HP – Internal ITO Datacentre Consolidation Programme Manager (Germany) Infrastructure Programme Manager Dec 11 – Apr 12 Managing Consolidation of two DC in Frankfurt to a single mew instance • Responsible for the management of specialist technical team • Migration strategy to include transformation of devices as well as lift and shift for continuity • Decommission profiling, data tracking & decommission execution • Cost reduction management to allow for cost savings to deliver Business Case • 34 clients in the one DC to be managed through the migration • Initial analysis to confirm the detail of all devices to be consolidated, technical & contractual status • Managing the budget, team & deliverables through standard Programme lifecycle. As part of the delivery of this role, I am responsible for the delivery of all production services based in the DC. I have setup a standard Programme Organisation which has been signed off by the Sponsors of the Programme. Decommissioning was planned on a client by client basis post the migrations, this was to allow for uninterrupted service to the client to be maintained. The Programme was running in support of a scheduled building closure programme, we were working to extremely tight schedules with Drop Dead Dates that were set in stone, which in turn ensured the team worked closely to ensure the delivery & Business Case were not compromised. 2010 Contract HP – Internal ITO EMEA/APJ Consolidation Programme Manager Infrastructure Programme Manager Mar 10 – Nov 2011 Managing Consolidation of 340 Labs into ES Labs Virtual service • Responsible for the management of specialist technical team • Delivery of Physical to Virtual services to allow for cost savings to deliver Business Case • Delivery within EMEA into one UK based Lab & APJ into one Australian based Lab • 10,000 devices scoped, 8,800 actually transformed, remainder migrated to centralised DC • 340 Labs EMEA & 178 in APJ • Decommissioning analysis, profiling, phasing & execution for in excess of 19,000 devices • Initial analysis to confirm the detail of all devices to be consolidated, technical & contractual status • Managing the budget, team & deliverables through standard Programme lifecycle. As part of the delivery of this role, I am responsible for the delivery of all none production ES Labs from their current physical form to virtual labs both in the UK & Australia. By using MSP Methodology, I managed each of the tranches through start up, planning & deployment, assisting & directing their respective Project Managers, then reporting to SRO through the Programme Board any risks or issues along with any recommendations, I am also responsible for the finances & reporting. In total there are 4 tranches within the Programme, these comprised of Analysis, assessment, build out & transformation. Each tranche being planned at a detailed delivery schedule level, with baselined milestones, that were monitored & measured at the Programme level. Finally to ensure timely exit of the required buildings to meet the Programme BC, decommissioning of devices in a data safe & coordinated fashion was crucial to support business continuity. As this Programme was running in support of a scheduled building closure programme, we were working to extremely tight schedules with Drop Dead Dates that were set in stone, which in turn ensured the team work closely to ensure the delivery & Business Case were not compromised. 2003 – 2009 Contract EDS – Rolls Royce Account Infrastructure Programme Manager Jan 09 – Aug 09 Managing Back Office Delivery of SCCM, SCOM, KMS & Bitlocker Responsible for the management of £13.4 million budget Delivery of Microsoft technologies to a none restricted estate Delivery within the UK utilising Dell’s CFI & DAD Processes for client deployment; o 5,000 laptops o 17,000 desktops – Vista client o Process Management changes for support teams & training for users Alpha & Beta phase prototype delivery in a short timeline (POC) Budgeting for & managing risks & issues to minimise any impact on Programme delivery Managing the EDS(HP)/Dell/Microsoft/Rolls-Royce relationship As part of the delivery of this role, I was responsible for the delivery of all the supporting infrastructure required to migrate the client from a Windows server 2000 estate to Windows Server 2003 R2 operating system within AD to allow the support of Vista & Windows 7. I was also responsible for the deployment of laptops & desktops including the applications that were to be migrated from existing application versions to current version -1. The role covered the full lifecycle of the Programme. By using MSP Methodology, I managed each of the tranches through start up, planning & deployment, assisting & directing their respective Project Managers. I was responsible for supplier selection to assist in the delivery of the scoped solution and managed their deliverables when assigned. I was also responsible for Programme Risks, meeting with the Programme Board on a bi-weekly basis to review current status & recommendations. I was also responsible for the finances both planning & reporting. The key requirement for this Programme to be successful was that laptop deliveries had to commence within 4 months of the Programme initiation. This meant that identifying &migrating the applications that would allow for delivery of 80% of the laptops was crucial.
  • 4. This was initiated by using offshore resource, which both kept the costs in check & allowed for multiple streams of work to be completed in a short timescale. In total there were 5 tranches within the Programme that I managed, these comprised of Prototyping, Laptop delivery, Application Migration, Business Transformation & Global Architecture. Each Project was planned at a detailed delivery schedule level with tightly scheduled, baselined milestones that were delivered by the Project while being monitored&measured for benefits realisation at the Programme level. The Programme consisted of Infrastructure Architecture, Client Design, Application Migration, Infrastructure Delivery, and Client Delivery along with Business Transformation to educate & train the user & support teams. The role covered the full lifecycle of the Programme. By using MSP Methodology, I managed each of the tranches through start up, planning & deployment, assisting & directing their respective Project Managers. I was responsible for supplier selection to assist in the delivery of the scoped solution and managed their deliverables when assigned. I was also responsible for Programme Risks, meeting with the Programme Board on a bi-weekly basis to review current status & recommendations. I was also responsible for the finances both planning & reporting. I also had to report to the MOD Security Board, who owned the Enterprise relationship with the MOD, on a bi weekly basis to ensure there were no deviancies that would affect the accreditation of the infrastructure in the final MOD sign off.
