The document discusses the evolution of knowledge management (KM) practices with the rise of Web 2.0 technologies and social tools. It describes how KM has shifted from a techno-centric, top-down approach (KM 1.0) to a more social, bottom-up, people-centric approach (KM 2.0) that leverages tools like blogs, wikis, and social networking. It argues that in the future, as social tools become more widely adopted, KM 2.0 practices that focus on open collaboration, transparency, and informal knowledge sharing will become the norm for most organizations.
A power point presentation for the Kurs "New new media" at Linköpings university. The topic is "Virtual communities - How the internet age chagend our lives" and is three parted. The first part is a short overview over the history of virtual communities, the second part consitst of some usibility ruels in the internet age I developt with the help of Jeff JArvis Book "What would google do?" and the last part tries to start a discussion about virtual communities and democracy.
Be here when - communities and how they use technology to design themselvesJohn David Smith
Using the example of a church that is both a community and an organization to examine how technology shapes identity, togetherness, and competence. Brings together Hidalgo's framework on computation with Wenger's community of practice theory. Discusses how organizations can be intimately intertwined with the communities that they serve.
What will leadership look like in the Age of the Web? A presentation at LeWeb 2008. (The original used lots of animations, so some of the slides look odd.)
Enterprise 2.0 - Efficient Collaboration and Knowledge ExchangeAcando Consulting
How to enable dispersed teams to coordinate their actions to achieve their goals and how to enable an organization to harness its collective intelligence - with the use of social software and principles of social media.

Many organisations put controls in place that inhibit the ability of their employees to make the most of the tools available to them. ThoughtWorks is different - we aim to encourage and support "Shadow IT". But when it comes to tools that support collaboration, there is a tricky balance to achieve - and we don't always get it right. In this presentation - first given at the "Death to the Workplace Superman" event held in conjunction with Morgan Lovell - I share a couple of stories that exemplify our approach to getting this balance right, and some of the mistakes made along the way. This version includes the speaker notes in the slides.

Strengthening Civil Society Through Social Media: with notesDavid Wilcox
Presentation for 21st century network, February 28 2012. With notes
At times of financial restraint and when Governments are looking at how civil society can be recruited to deliver on their own agenda then how can we ensure that the many associations that make up civil society can protect their independence. Can social networking help create a network of mutual independence that strengthens the countless groups that are the social glue of our civil society?

Title: Contextual Transmedia Communications: Content and Creativity in Complexity
Presenter: Betsey Merkel, The Institute for Open Economic Networks (I-Open) at the COINs-collaborative innovation networks Conference 2010, hosted by the Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia USA on October 7-9, 2010.
From the Abstract and a Presentation Overview: The human race is faced with engaging in exponential levels of complexity resulting from expanding populations, limited natural resources, and maturating cycles of the World Wide Web. Habits of capacity building - that of inventory, meaning, and experimentation -- remain at levels suited to an industrial age of linear scarcity. The results of this mismatch can be seen in widespread U.S. unemployment, poverty, and exponential natural systems failure. Disruptions such as these will continue to diminish our collective creative abilities to advance innovative enterprise unless we think and act differently. How and what we communicate affects the economic impact of creativity.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.

Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.

Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.
